[Ever since Souza disappeared, Souza have been... incredibly restless. It's a mix of having a lot of energy, far more than people usually see him with outside of the battlefield. If he's sad about Souza, Sayo's... coping it somewhat well?

He haven't went on a rampage or ask Haru for permission to seek revenge, at least.

Instead, he's been expending his energy trying to help out whenever he can. And that includes coming over to the apartments and asking if there's anything he can do. And after getting someone's attention, either while doing work or chores, he asks.]

Is there anything I can do?

[It's probably to keep himself company. Or to keep on eye on him and making sure Kashuu (the cat) won't escape and get wet. Even as the flood slowly drains out, Sayo likes having his CYbuddy nearby.

So while Sayo's visiting one of the apartments, he would bring Kashuu (the cat) over with him.

People would either:

1: THE CAT
Find Katshuu by himself, wandering around the apartment while his owner is busy with either chores or other work. He would look up when he notice someone approaching him and just stares.

2: THE CUTE
After Sayo was finished with the work, he still have a lot of energy to spare. But without any work he can do, either they're finished or someone else can handle it, he felt like he have to do something.

And after looking at Katshuu, he might have an idea.

... That would be why people would see Sayo playing with his CYbuddy cat without saying much. But it looks like he's enjoying himself.]

[SAYO AND KATSHUU what a pleasant surprise!! Without the surprise part, actually, since Kashuu's well aware of the Samonji plan to stay in the sword apartments for a little while as they regain their balance post-Souza. Honestly, he'd been expecting Sayo to be a little more out of sorts than he actually is, but... it's probably not a bad thing, right?

He'll make his way over to pat both Sayo's head and the cat's head, though!]

You all done? I saw you working earlier. [And he didn't even offer to help like a RUDE SHIT-- because he was busy with something else, but still.]

[It's probably not a bad thing that Sayo's looks and acts relatively okay. No rage or any of his usual bloodlust. Maybe he's calming down and learning how to deal with his emotions better?

Sayo blinked and looked up when Kashuu pat him on the head. Katshuu meowed and just revels under the attention.]

Yes, I'm done. I'd like to do more, but there isn't anything else I can do today. [Maybe Sayo should head out, but he also should be more careful and take care of himself.]

[IN A PERFECT WORLD where the swords aren't a complete and utter mess...

Ugh, they're both cute, though. Katshuu will get a little scratch behind the ears before Kashuu seats himself next to Sayo.]

Yeah... I just feel like I want to do more. [Distraction via work! Although playing with Katshuu works as well.] But it's nice to be with Kashuu right now.

[Now that's a true rarity... Also kind of freaky. He's a little concerned, though his concern is considerably dampened thanks to that nifty fire effect.]

[Sayo had mostly moved on from his own worries about his emotions, as it's easier to think of other things now than dwell on Souza. It would... come back whenever the fire effect fades off, however.

Hopefully, without a crash like the water people.]

Get along? [Sayo blinks, looking between Kashuu and Katshuu.] Yes, he can... as long they're not too annoying.

[He's thinking of a certain CYbuddy when he went to see Tadashi for an app.]

[Kashuu will definitely be ready to support him in that case, as long as his ass doesn't get kicked too badly by any potential crash, too...]

[And with little more than that, Kashuu's hopping to his feet and merrily making his way over to his room! When he comes back, it's with a relatively small cat cybuddy nestled in his arms.]

[Sayo looks at Kashuu's cat curiously, and nods to agree with him. Katshuu looks up and meows in greeting. Hello!]

Yes, they look cute. What's their name?

[Hopefully, nothing like naming them after another sword that's still around...]

[Sayo has extra energy, but Jack is lacking it. And that's why he's taking over an arm chair, lying on it upside down. His white hair is brushing the floor, his bare feet hanging over the back of the seat. One would wonder if blood didn't cause him headaches like that, but it's not like he can go through that kind of thing anyway.]

Mmmm... bring me some ice-cream? Is there any left?

[Sayo stares at Jack Frost. Well, if he's here and not kicked out, he's probably okay to be around.]

I'll have to check first.

[He's already heading for the kitchen. Sayo should be tall enough to reach the freezer and get something from inside. What flavours do they have here? He calls out from the kitchen.]

There's chocolate! Is that okay?

[Sorry, Sayo, but the asshole is here to stay. You can blame Haru's spirit swag for that one. Jack fidgets on his seat, lack of energy no equaling gained patience. Should he stand up and help?

It's ice-cream, there isn't a not-okay type! Bring them all! And spoons. Maybe cookies too.

[Jack would hear the sounds of Sayo getting the spoons from the drawers. As for the cookies, he thought for a moment before he leaves the kitchen. In his hands is a tub of ice cream and two spoons, which he'll hold out to Jack.]

I'll get the cookies next.

[He is low in energy, alright! And with Sayo doing everything he says, well, it's hard not to go along with it. Jack doesn't fix his position when Sayo comes back, just grabs the spoon and... smiles when he hears the rest.]

Cookies, huh. You've been taught well. You're better at this than Naki. [Not gonna wait, tho, reaching for the tub to dig in...!]

["Everyone" being anyone in the sword army. Everyone else in this city? He'd help so at least his brothers and master wouldn't worry too much about it. Sayo turns around and returns to the kitchens for the cookies. He'll just grab the first cookie-holding thing he can see.

He comes out with a container of choc chips cookies.]

Yeah, yeah, everything for Haruji, I got that speech already. [Multiple times in fact.] I was talking about your taste in food.

[Naki wasn't big on the cold treats Jack offered, but Sayo seems to know the basics at least. Jack doesn't need to eat, and as far as he knows the swords don't need it either, but that doesn't mean spirits can't appreciate something yummy every now and then.

Jack makes crumbles out of a couple of cookies and throws them on the ice-cream tube before finally digging in.]

Don't you do anything for yourself?

[Sayo blinks and stare up at Jack when he heard that question.]

For myself? [Is this a trick question? Or a simple one. He tilts his head a bit.] Like what?

[It's a rare day for Larry: a day off! It's pretty miraculous when that happens since he has three jobs to juggle, but sometimes the stars align in such a way that he gets a lot of free time and has absolutely no idea what to do with it.

Thus, he decides to occupy some of his time by visiting some swords! At least, the ones he knows to start with.

Luckily he finds Sayo pretty quickly without a lot of awkward "who is this random guy in orange wandering around the house" coming from other apartment occupants. He is, however, pretty surprised by who he finds Sayo with!

He crouches down, happily waving to Sayo and his kitty friend.]

Hey Sayo! You didn't tell me you got a Cybuddy!

[But how long until he tries to rope Sayo into letting him take Katshuu for walks though.]

Hello, Larry-san. [He looks like he's in a fairly good mood? What an uncommon sight.] I have him for a while. I didn't think of mentioning it.

[More like, no one asked Sayo, so he never thought of telling more people about Katshuu. Which is... his approach to many other topics. "You didn't ask me."]

[It's nice to see Sayo in a good mood! Larry doesn't recall this sort of vibe from the boy in the past, so it's a nice change of pace.]

Whoa, guess I must be behind on the times then!

[But he does kinda figure Sayo wouldn't be one to take a cat for walks, so it's not like he would've run into it that way.

He slowly holds out a hand for Katshuu to approach.]

Are you having fun taking care of him? Chores and all?

Katshuu slowly approaches and looks at Larry's hand. Sayo gives a nod before he answers.]

Yes. I like taking care of him. It's nice that Kashuu likes me and isn't scared of me.

[Maybe because he's a robot and not a real animal? Real animals can sense Sayo's usual "aura" around him.]

[He will cherish this moment!! It's probably for the best that Sayo's not in his usual mood though, or Larry would be trying to pep him up more than usual... Strangely, Larry's been in a ridiculously good mood himself lately.

He gives the adorable robo-kitty a few good pats as he continues his conversation with Sayo.]

Aww, that's awesome! Makes sense too- I don't see why he'd be afraid. You seem like the type to get along with animals.

So Kashuu's his name, huh? Does that stand for something?

[It's not a name he's immediately familiar with. He's used to a lot of Cybuddies he walks being named after foods or famous people. Or Max. People really like naming animals Max.]

Kashuu means... state, province. He's named after a comrade.

[Because it's a nice name suggestion, and Sayo have no reason to decline it.]

Oh... For serious? [Well that just got sad all of the sudden. Larry frowns a bit, not sure what to say right away.] But you wouldn't hurt them though, right? I don't think they got anything to be afraid of.

[He wants to believe, Sayo. That, or he wants to avoid talking about how dark things really are with this boy.

It's probably a combination of both, though he's more outwardly obvious that he wants to keep things positive. Must be something in the air...]

Ahh, so he's named after another of your sword buds? Is he in Cerealia too? [That makes him think...] Actually, how many of you guys are here now in general?

Yes. [Sayo nods, to Larry's first two questions. A lot of the time, Sayo doesn't have a reason to hurt animals, unless it's to protect Haru or his comrades.] I won't do anything to them, but I understand why they're scared.

[Because Sayo knows he doesn't look friendly, okay. Sayo pause for a moment to think.]
