Who: Sayo and YOU.
What: Sayo went into ViViD to grind for points to get something. Afterwards, he checked out an ice cream stall’s selection of… odd flavours?
When: May 19th (IC) | February 7th/8th (OOC), May 20th (IC) | February 9th/10th (OOC)
Where: ViViD, Shopping District
Warnings: Violence in ViViD later.

[Sayo never really hides his dislike and distrust of ViViD. It’s buggy, it drags people inside, it cause them trouble and sometimes, bring up things that’s unnecessary for others to know.

And yet, here he is.

Sayo probably would stand out a lot, by the sheer fact that he’s probably one of the smallest players around using ViViD. Depending on your choice, you could:

1. Pre-ViViD session: Chat with him and maybe team up? Sayo wouldn’t decline any offers to team up, since he knows teamwork is important.
2. Assassin’s Creed Killer’s Code: Your mission, should you choose to fulfil it, is to assassinate certain targets inside a city. Your score will be marked based on stealth, approach and non-target NPC reactions to your actions. Sayo can do it, but what is your approach to go with his? Will it mesh well... or cause conflict and wreck your scores in the process?
3. Alien Warriors: Free for all brawl?! Take many enemies, all with strange appearances, within the time limit! Maybe fulfil some optional objectives while you’re at it for extra points? Maybe you should watch out for Sayo, since tantou aren’t designed for all-out fighting like this virtual battlefield.

No matter what, he's here to get points for a certain thing.]

[After school, Sayo’s in the shopping district and taking a good look around for anything that might be useful. Or good deals, so he can report it back to everyone once he’s back home. At one point, he stopped and was looking at an ice cream stall’s flavour selection. There’s the standard flavours, along with the more… unusual choices. Odd enough that Sayo would actually look up at someone (he’s so small, sometimes he wants to be taller--) and ask.]

Is that one good?

[And points at the flavour he’s asking about. Take your pick, it’s still a weird flavour. And possibly discourage him against buying it… or enable him?!]

[Pizza as an ice cream... Science gone horribly wrong, or bring about a miracle? Sayo blinks and shake his head.]

No, I don't. Pizze is a pie? It doesn't look like it. [Doesn't pies have crusts covering their top?]

Lili's blinking when this little person starts talking to her and honestly she was looking for just a quick snack before she had to take care of her next errand but then there's... all these oddities at hand.

I don't mind octopus, but I haven't try it as ice cream before.

I haven't decide if I should give it a try.

[There is someone in ViViD tonight trying the free-for-all, and boy is he struggling. Freddie's using a bow, so it's not the best for this job either. Sayo better look out for stray arrows since he's pretty much brand new to this whole thing. He seems a bit overwhelmed, but when he spots Sayo, he tries to give him a warning as he lines up shots as fast as he can.]

H-Hey, head's up! I'm still new at this, so um, look out for stray shots?

[Since he's a small tantou, projectiles tends to be a big thing for him to worry about, especially if the battlefield take place during the "day". After he take down a particularly odd looking alien warrior (is that its arm or its antenna he sliced into?) and giving himself some breathing room, he looks over to see a man with a bow.]

Got it! Do you need me to cover for you?

[This (very) small fella is stronger than he looks.]

Um... yes? [He sounds unsure, mostly due to being frazzled. He keeps firing, but he's not getting a lot of hits. But this kid(?) really seems to know what he's doing, so Freddie won't turn down the help.

I think this is too high of a difficulty level for me, maybe. I'm still really new at this...!

[ ah, it's a child. a very small child?! lop's been biting his lip as he considers the tub of incredibly tempting vanilla ice cream, but looks down when he hears that inquiry. ]

Um? That one ... ? [ he bends down so sayo won't have to look up his full lanky length, squinting to see which one's being pointed at. at the same time, trying to surreptitiously brush the longer tufts of his hair down to hide the more mangled side of his face. ] Let's see. That's ... 'Squid Ink.'

[ an awkward laugh as he tilts his head in consideration. ]

Well, I've heard they make pasta sauce with squid ink. But it's supposed to be pretty salty. I'm not sure if that's what you'd want in ice cream?

[A very small child. Probably one of the smallest around? Sayo blinks when he get to see the other person's features a little better. There's the brief glimpse of something before Lop tried to hide it from his view, and Sayo's eyes briefly glance up at the... horns? Antlers? From the head.

This is kind of new.]

It might depends... [Maybe people really like their salt.] Maybe the ice cream isn't as salty?

[Maybe. People have all sorts of tastes and experiments way too much with food.]

Hmm. That's true. And I guess some sweets are salty? There are things like salted caramel and sea-salt chocolate.

[ a thoughtful hum as he ponders the row of ice cream flavors. (honestly, why are there so many weird ones ...) ]

Well, I guess I'm a little curious, too.

Would you like to try it?

[ he's still got his hand pressed awkwardly to his bangs to hide part of his face, but he does manage to attempt a small smile. ]

[ Kousetsu has accompanied Sayo into ViViD specifically for the reason that it's buggy and dangerous. It's not that he doesn't believe in his brother's abilities but he wants to help as much as possible. And so they found themselves in a sortie of sorts. Their enemies these strange looking beings from another realm.

Kousetsu wasn't sure what they were but he didn't think they were willing to speak to him to tell him. Where ever Sayo needs assistance Kousetsu will be there to aid him. The tachi isn't the fastest but he is the second strongest and therefore these creatures are hardly a match for him and Sayo together. ]

[Sayo might not have a tachi's strength, but he have his tantou speed to his advantage.

If any opponents try to sneak up on Kousetsu, Sayo would be already there, slashing at their... well, he assume it's their limbs, causing them to stop where they are and reacts to it. It's distracted just long enough for someone to finish it off.]

[ Kousetsu will land a finishing blow to his own opponent only to turn around to see that one behind him engaged with Sayo. He'll rush forward and strike at what he presumes is its heart. It'll let out a screech of pain and lash out with barbed tentacles towards Kousetsu and Sayo both. ]

[Oh... Frisk is actually taller than this person. This is a strange and bizarre development. Not that they're actually going to point it out, in any case. They just tilt their head, glancing at the Haggis flavored ice cream he's pointing to, before shrugging.]

... Dunno. It could be? Name makes it sound funny.

[Sayo wonders if he'll ever find someone smaller than him, at least outside of school. He looks at them, and then back at the Haggis flavoured ice cream.]

If they're selling it, it should be good. [Edible? Tolerable?] But I don't know what's "Haggis".

Maybe it's... some kinda fruit? Like cool alien fruit.

Well, pizza tastes good...as do pizza-flavoured potato chips. So ice cream could be good as well....are you thinking of trying it, Sayo-dono?

Yes, I'm thinking of it. I want to try something new this time.

[And apparently, that "new" thing for Sayo to consider is pizza ice cream. Good idea, or bad idea?]

I just... don't know what to expect from it. [Pizza? Cold pizza flavour? Pizza, but cold and creamy?]

[The wealth of strange ice cream flavours will never cease to make Veronica's day. She liked the opportunity to try them all so much (and maybe to find one she liked!) that she'd gone through quite a lot already.

With a little tilt of her head down at him and then back to the flavour he's pointing at: salt and pepper...]

That is one I haven't tried. [But it's clear that's the exact one she's thinking of getting right now.]

It looks interesting though, does it not? Salt and pepper....Perhaps it tastes like sea salt ice cream but with the addition of pepper? Or is it salty and cold, do you think?

[Since it's Veronica, Sayo feels a little more comfortable with asking her about this pretty mundane topic.

He blinks and looks back at the salt and pepper flavour.]

It might be? But I haven't try sea salt flavour before. [He usually goes for simple and familiar flavours. Or even persimmon. He wants to take his chances whenever he find a place offering persimmon flavour. But this time, he's trying something new.]

But it's ice cream, so it should be cold and sweet enough...

Sea salt flavour is quite delicious. I made some of my own once and it is quite easy.

[So if he ever wanted persimmon ice cream, she could probably try it out too.]

I suppose so. There is only one way to find out though. [She smiles at him, quickly and brightly and then asks the person working there for a scoop.]
