Who: Leon (
discard) and you people who have to put up with him, starring: two Stahnbots
When: IC: 6/25 - 6/30 ; OOC: 4/19 - 4/30 ; event 28
Where: All around Cerealia, but especially the Residential and Entertainment Districts
What: Life is really hard when a) your sense is touch and you hate touching people and b) there are two robots of your best friend demonstrating some really worrisome behavior. Uh oh.
Rating/Warning: Probably disgusting levels of Dumb in here, also robot murder
a. [ 6/25 - 6/28 ]
[The problem here is that Leon's sick of both robots and people. He's tense and uncertain already from everything that's been happening, even if it's seemed harmless so far, he's paranoid enough to think that things have to go wrong eventually.
As if that wasn't bad enough, he's been feeling the urge to...well, touch people more and more, in little harmless ways like reaching for their hand or sleeve, and that's extra bad because he knows he doesn't want that. He doesn't like touch. He doesn't like being touched. He needs his personal space bubble, which is why when he bumps into either you or your robodouble, somewhere around Cerealia, at first he's actually legitimately grabbing onto your arm--
Though it's to steady himself, he lingers there for a moment longer than necessary before he catches himself, flustering and...shoving either you or said robodouble away rather sharply and rudely.]
Get away from me!
[Leon, you were the one who grabbed on in the first place.]
b. [ 6/29 ]
[So.
Stahn activated both robots for both Leon and himself, which means there are two Stahn robots wandering around Cerealia--except they don't seem to be wandering so much anymore as actively stalking Leon. He has no idea why they're so fixated on him, but he's definitely stalking away as quickly as he can without outright running (because he's not retreating, he's just trying to get away, that's all), as the Stahnbots attempt to stalk him in their completely obvious way, hiding behind walls or trash cans but peering out so obviously as they do so.
They're not stealthy at all.
Of course, if someone tries to stop them, they might go ahead and do what they were planning on doing to Leon all along and squeeze you in a hug.
Death by affection--hey, it'd probably work on Leon. It looks as though he's rather rumpled in appearance already, cape askew and hair a mess, which means he's probably gotten dragged into a hug or two already before he was Prepared.
So if you're in the way, he's going to go ahead and snap out, rather tensely:]
Get out of the way. Don't slow me down!
[Stahnbots are coming, okay!!! He'll shove people out of the way if he has to--because he really does sound more panicked than angry at this point, even if he's trying to keep it under wraps.]
c. [ 6/30 ]
[But, ultimately, Leon can't avoid the Stahn robots forever. It's been a really exhausting week, and things have only gotten worse and worse. So honestly, Leon's picked a really bad time to slip up, but that's the story of his life, so here he is, in the middle of the sidewalk in the Entertainment District, probably totally in the way.
But can anyone really blame him, when there's a Stahnbot attached to each arm, and they're each pulling on opposite directions?
He's trying to reach for his sword, but it's honestly impossible for him to break each of their grips on his arms, and so he can't reach--he's almost pathetically helpless like this, even if he's struggling. One Stahn he might have been able to handle, but two? There was no chance.]
Don't touch me!
[He's certainly unhappy... but wandering a bit closer will reveal that that's because said Stahnbots seem to be fighting over...who gets to kill Leon first to prevent the other from having him. That sounds healthy.]
I'm going to take you to pieces! [How, Leon......... you're kind of stuck.
...help.]

c.
(And later, much later, the real Hiro Hamada will hear about this and learn all about the fact that his robot's perfected absolutely everything about him and disappeared on his own.)]
I'd like to see you try to take them on. [It's the lilt of the voice that really sells that he's the original, the mildly teasing smirk as he circles the trio curiously.] You look a little stuck.
no subject
The only major clue in is that Baymax isn't around--
But for now, Leon's not even thinking about that. He's mostly thinking about how not only is he stuck between two Stahnbots who want to kill him and are fighting over who gets to, he's getting goaded, too.]
Shut up!
[And he's pissed, but what else is new.]
I can handle this myself!
[Probably.]
no subject
[You're doing an A+ job handling it now as it is is what it's saying here, Leon.] I'll be over here while you handle it.
no subject
He is a professional; after a moment of calculating, he shifts to slam his boot down on one of the Stahnbot's feet. As soon as the Stahnbot yelps in surprise, reeling back, Leon yanks his arm out of its grasp, turning and slamming his elbow into the other's face.
Handling it.
Sort of. He's immediately stumbling away from the bots, though, because one of them is reaching for its sword and Leon's grimacing, glancing back over to HIro(bot).]
What are you doing here? You should go. [You're gonna get hurt, Hiro.]
no subject
Why? You really think I'm worried about these guys? [It's eyeing the sword curiously before casually calling out.] You're moving pretty slow.
[To Leon, to the Stahnbot, who knows who it's meant for.]
no subject
Him egging them on like this feels...off.]
You. [A beat, and the first time he properly uses Hiro's name would be to a robot, of course it would.] Hiro--leave, unless you want to placed in danger.
[A beat.
Leon warily steps away from one of the Stahnbots, putting distance between them.]
Where is your nanny?
no subject
My what? [...oh. That balloon thing.] Oh, you mean Baymax. Right, right...see the thing is? I don't really need him right now. [He shrugs too-casually.] I don't see any kind of danger around here. You don't think I can handle a sword? They're just robots, Leon. Stupid, useless robots...right?
[The smirk is bordering on just a touch too demeaning and his eyes look back at the Stahnbots.] Figured it was time to ditch the crutch.
no subject
For all of his fussing and all of his ridiculousness, he's a very intelligent person, and when Hiro says that, when Hiro makes that face, when Hiro smirks, Leon slowly lifts Chaltier with a quiet noise, more an acknowledging hum than anything.]
Ah, I understand now. I suppose if I were to impale you on this blade, you, too, would bleed black.
[A Hirobot, huh... Leon spares a thought to wonder where the real Hiro is, before he thinks he doesn't really have the time to fret over something like that. There are three robots here now, which not only puts him outnumbered, but at a distinct disadvantage (because two of them wear Stahn's face, and he's not really sure if stabbing Hiro through the heart is going to be that easy either, for all of his pretending).
But well. There's no time like the present to find out, he supposes.]
no subject
And it shrugs again, followed by a light chuckle.]
It's possible. [What's the point of pretending anymore? Leon's already onto its game.] But you wanna know the funny thing about machines? We're usually better made. If he could survive being impaled by a rapier, I'm pretty sure I can handle…[A dismissive wave to Chaltier.] Besides, I'm not your biggest problem.
no subject
Do not underestimate me.
[He'll prove that's a bad idea real fast--though he does have to shuffle to the side a bit to avoid a Stahnbot that was creeping closer.]
What, then, is supposedly my "biggest problem"?
no subject
I'm not underestimating you, but I still don't think you're a huge threat. Take your pick, Stahn one or Stahn two. Or both. Maybe they make up one huge problem.
[There's another lopsided smile.] You wouldn't be able to destroy them if you tried, would you?
no subject
Then he'll swing his blade around to face the Stahnbot coming nearest to him, warding him away.]
I am more than capable of handling myself. Three robots such as yourselves? [He scoffs, harshly and shortly.]
Pitiful. That can hardly be considered a challenge.
no subject
Dude. [It hardly wastes time getting up though it's slow-going, activating the gunblade to its full length and facing Leon again.]
Don't tell me you're actually good at fighting alone. Seems pretty stupid.
no subject
I am more than capable of fighting alone, naturally.
[One of the Stahnbots comes closer and Leon throws a Grave Arte that way as well, knocking the bot back (it's easier when he doesn't look, when he just casts and goes) and then he's striding towards the Hirobot quickly, purposefully.]
I am Leon Magnus, of the King's Knights of Seinegald. Allow me to show you what, exactly, that means, since you seem so certain I am unskilled in battle.
[As opposed to his typical fluster and bluster, here he's calm and certain--this, at least, is something he's completely confident in.]
no subject
Let's see who's more capable then. [And with that it lunges forward to bring its blade in a downward strike over Leon's head. (It really only intends to test him a bit. After that, it'll probably run away. Again.)]
no subject
There's certainly no hesitation in his movements here and now--there are very few things that can make Leon hesitate, and this is not one of them.]
no subject
Is that the best you've got? [At least the real Hiro could fight a little better than...whatever this thing is doing. Though it does activate the blade again, firing off a shot from the gun. From its position on the ground it misses Leon's foot and soars off into a store window, shattering the glass. It's hoping that Leon will look that way instead as it rises to its feet.]
no subject
This being the fact that Leon's a professional soldier and has been for a few years now. He's young, yes, but he's been training for just that since he was 6, and something like a bullet shattering glass is not enough to distract him from the battle before him.
Which is why he doesn't even hesitate; as soon as it's clear the bullet is going to miss him, he's lunging forward, blade at the ready, trying to stab it straight through the bot.
Think fast, Hirobot, don't get skewered.]
no subject
On the other hand, it's also turning toward the Stahnbots.] Uh, a little help, maybe?
no subject
The Robot Struggle.
Eventually, though, they do think that Leon's distraction is a good time to try to skewer him, which means Leon has to dodge and parry two sudden swords coming at him really quickly--which is likely going to give Hirobot a beautiful escape route.]
Tch!
no subject
Looks like you've got your hands full sooo…[He turns and zooms away. Note to self: don't mess with people who actually know how to fight, and also make fun of the real thing for not knowing how to really fight. Good luck, Leon.]
