A: The Digi-Hangover

[Taichi hasn't had the most pleasant of awakenings. His clothes, his goggles, his digivice, his cerevice... virtually everything is missing. Including, most importantly, Agumon!

So, you'll find a young boy wandering around the streets in his pajamas while shouting out.]

Agumon! Agumoooon! Where are you?!

B: Making My Way Downtown

[Agumon's over with a different Taichi, one who is dressed in Taichi's normal attire, complete with the digivice and Cerevice. All was going according to plan... not even the orange lizard walking at his side had caught onto the difference yet.]

Taichi, what happened to our robot friend?

Oh, I sent him on an errand to the other side of town! We'll meet up with him later. [He says with a casual smile.] For now, let's just find all of our friends!

Okay! Sounds like fun!

[ Dipper's ears are greeted with the sound of a somewhat-familiar voice calling out a somewhat-familiar name before he looks over to see Taichi wandering down the street in his pajamas. Dipper is out looking for his own robot, none too thrilled at the thought of what the bot might be up to without his supervision. After all, the bot's just like him, and Dipper's pretty smart! (What, he's just being honest with himself.)

However, this is substantially distracting enough that he actually stops. ]

Did you lose your dinosaur, or something?

[But if he wants to be honest with himself, he could consider that the robot could be just being a loser nerd.

Taichi frowns as Dipper speaks to him.]

I didn't lose him! He... he's just somewhere I don't know about! And his name is Agumon!

That said, Dipper can sympathize...sorta. How many times has he gone through this when Mabel has lost track of Waddles? ]

Right, right, sorry. But if you didn't lose him, then why are you looking for him?

[ Sorry, Taichi, he's not buying it. ]

Because I don't know where he is! Or my cerevice and a bunch of my other stuff. ...It's not the same as losing him! [It kind of is, Taichi...]

...Yeah, it kind of is.

[ Sorry (but not really). ]

Look, do you want any help looking for him, at least?

[Rude. Taichi makes a face for a moment, but finding Agumon really is more important than his pride right now, so he nods and gives a light smile.]

I'd appreciate it. ...I just don't know where to start.

[ Well, it's obvious enough that Taichi doesn't know where to start. Otherwise he would have started by now. But at least Dipper isn't feeling bratty enough to point that out right now. ]

I can put out a message on my CereVice to see if anyone has seen him. Are there any places he might try to go without you?

Um... I don't know. With all my other stuff that's missing, he might be trying to track it down. Otherwise, I'd guess he'd gone looking for snacks or candy.

Any idea who might have taken your stuff? Like...your robot, maybe?

[ Dipper wouldn't have halfway surprised if a robot had something to do with Agumon's disappearance. ]

My robot? [He thinks it over with a light shrug.] Sure it's been acting weird lately, but... What would it want with all my stuff?

[ Dipper lifts an eyebrow. ]

Doesn't the fact that it's basically turned into you make you a little bit alarmed?

Well, it has been kind of creepy, and it kept asking to borrow my goggles the other day...

[He groans.]

He really is the thief!

[ Really, Taichi, was it that hard to figure out... ]

Er - yeah, must be. Think Agumon might be with it, too?

He has to be! Agumon must be trying to get my stuff back from him!

...Yeah, that's probably it.

[ That, or the robot straight-up kidnapped Agumon. Either way. ]

There's no time to waste! We've got to find them!
