A: RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT, SOMETIME AT NIGHT TO MORNING...

[Something mysterious is happening around the apartments where you live. No one is entirely sure what is going on, but perhaps you will catch a glimpse of someone running/flying/what have you outside your door. Or if you don't, then you will see something in the morning.

In front of your door is a tiny gift. It's a pressed flower card, which has the address to "Thistle Do Nicely. A Flower Shop."]



B: SHOPPING DISTRICT: THISTLE DO NICELY, OPENING HOURS...

[Actually, there might be some desperation when it comes to services in this flower shop. Flower shops are essentially boring, as all they do is sell flowers. Granted, this single shop also has a little tea area for you to relax and drink their especially concocted teas and flower-influenced foods, but honestly? It's not doing much right now.

And so the management decided to have this fantastic plan!]

BUY A BOUQUET OF FLOWERS, KISS OR RECEIVE A KISS FROM A STAFF MEMBER OF YOUR CHOICE.

[Is this place even serious? It sure is, but thankfully, if you're not into cute girls, they've somehow managed to have a few male volunteers to help them out! Amazing! So buy some flowers, make them rich, and receive a cute kiss on the cheek.

C: SHOPPING DISTRICT: THISTLE DO NICELY (TEA AREA), OPENING HOURS...

[On the other hand, you could just sit back and enjoy the light cakes and teas they have on hand. It's quite natural and delicious, and maybe you would like to discuss with other people about your day. There's a delightful scent in the air. Is it the flowers? Yes and no; it's the oils of the flowers, heated by a candle and the scent wafting through the air.

Maybe you would like to stay here...forever. No we're kidding, this is a nice establishment, just chill out.

[Rock Lee runs back and forth through several hallways, trying to catch the figure, while the flyer is crumpled in his hand.

Eventually, he looks down at it with a furrowed brow.]

What could this mean...?

[Rock Lee agonizes as he looks over the notice and over the bouquets of flowers, his face turning red.]

How- how could this be?!

[A kiss, being given away so easily?! He had never heard from such a thing! He feels such a dilemma. Wouldn't it be sweet to receive a kiss? At the same time... what if this somehow jinxes his chances with Sakura-san?!]

C.

[Rock Lee smiles as he snacks on a cake and some tea. He sniffs at the flowers in the air and hums in delight.]

Ah... I wish I was better at telling flowers by their scents! This is Ino-san's area of expertise!

B

[mermaiding]

In way. Move. [She tilts her head, ready to shove him aside when she notices how red his face is. Immediately her expression turns uncertain and she takes a half-step back.]

Eh? Eh? Are you sick? What is wrong?

M-my apologies![He shuffles over nervously as he looks towards her.]

It... I am not sick at all! N-not even lovesick! But... perhaps that is the problem! [He points towards the sign about the kisses.]

[Oona finds that she doesn't understand humans the majority of the time, even on the best of days. She has no idea what 'lovesickness' is (is that a human disease it sounds awful why) and even less of an idea as to what kisses have to do with it.

She stares at the sign. She stares at him.

Her dubious expression remains.] ...Do not see problem. Is just kiss. Do you not like kisses?

[He frets.]

Er... ah... I do admire the concept that is the kiss! But... the kiss... It should be an intimate matter be- between sweethearts! Would it really be right... to give them away in this manner?!

[ Ryuko isn't interested in purchasing anything, kiss or otherwise, but she can't pass up the chance to tease Lee when she catches his little moral dilemma. ]

Hmm? Are you that eager to learn what first love tastes like?

R- Ryuko-san! [He looks towards her, utterly lost and blushy.]

Yes! I- I mean... no! I... Such an experience... Now should not be the time!

So ya never even kissed a girl, huh? How utterly shocking.

I- it's true, Ryuko-san!! It's the one activity of youth that... that I have never experienced!

What? Someone can actually do that?!

[THE SURPRISED EXCLAMATION COMES FROM the bottom shelf of a flower display case... Oz is crouched all the way down there, looking over some type of blue flower in a pot that he's holding in both hands.]

[Rock Lee cries back with his mouth full of cake.]

Ino-san knows everything about flowers! She has to!!

Ah— Wait, she has to?

[?! Rock Lee comes from a weird, weird world.]

Not that it isn't an impressive skill—!

She knows so much about flowers, that I am absolutely confident! It is impressive, isn't it? If she was here, perhaps she would own this establishment!

[ Here is a volunteer with a tea pot. Want a refill, Rock Lee? c: ]

I think that's fine. These things take time to learn. If you familiarize yourself with at least one of them daily, you'd be able to progress that way.

Ah! [He glances over sharply, already amazed.]

So, in a way, it will be a type of training! [The most reliable way to get Lee to do anything.] I... I want to try this flower scent training, please! [And yes, he will smile gratefully at the refill. He'll probably think to leave a tip, too!]

[ ... What an amusing guy. Yoon can't help but smile at that reaction. Stepping closer, the teapot is then angled properly to refill the cup. The pleasant warmth and aroma of the flowery tea will immediately make itself known. ]

If that is the case, I will gladly help. The tea blends might be too complex for now, so we can try simple flowers first.

[ Yoon will dismiss himself for a second to pick up a flower... and returns holding a small bundle of frangipani. ]

This one is called frangipani. It's also known as plumeria. It has a very strong aroma that is easily distinguishable.

[Rock Lee smiles contently as he takes in the scent of the tea. And then he smiles eagerly as the flowers are brought to him.]

Ah... My first lesson begins! 'Fran-gi-pani'... [He repeats it slowly to himself to try to master the pronunciation, then he closes his eyes as he sniffs at it.]

You are right... it is very distinctive!!

[ While he should really be minding his own business, Ayumu just can't help but express how baffled he is by what he's hearing. ]

First! If one loses one's eyesight, then they can rely on smell to identify certain flowers. Secondly! By telling apart the smells of normal flowers and ones that are poisonous, one can avoid being lured into a deadly trap! Third! Being able to tell a flower so easily can create a romantic atmosphere!

[Lee running by is what attracts her attention more than anything else, because normally if someone is running, it means they're chasing someone or being chased, which could mean all sorts of trouble she should keep herself appraised of.

Fortunately that doesn't seem to be the case here, and once Lee pauses, she interjects,]

An invitation to a flower shop, I presume.

[Luckily for Peko, she actually got to speak with one of the employees when she received her card.]

Ah! Peko-san. [He turns to face her and hold the flyer up right in front of her face.]

Are you sure?! It does sound like it is something exactly like that!

[pLEASE DON'T HOLD THINGS UP RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER FACE. One hand immediately snatches it out of the way so it's not obscuring her vision before she actually tries reading it.]

I take it you did not speak to the young lady in the apron dress?

[She means a maid dress. Same thing, really.]
