which means when she talked to rock lee again she wanted to make sure to train with him!! she's gone by once or twice but this is the first time she's purposefully gone over to the gym with this in mind. it's... good! she even wore proper attire. gym shorts! t-shirts! a water bottle that she should probably fill up!

anyway, when she gets there she's going to look for rock lee. sniffing the air, she follows what she thinks is his scent. hey, rock, where are ya? ]

He's in whatever part of the gym has training dummies, and he's grunting fiercely as he attacks one with his sweetass ninja movements.]

BUT AT LEAST SHE KNOWS WHERE TO GO?! so yeah she's going to turn a corner and watch said sweetass ninja move with a look of surprise. then she approaches! ]

{Rock Lee still smiles at the sound of her voice, while he's in the middle of beating down the dummy.]

You're way too human so your teeth aren't sharp enough. So, I don't think it would help you much in a fight. See, my teeth are sharper.

[ she opens her mouth and doesn't seem to realize her fangs are growing a bit out. malia, that's inhuman!! but people who forget the werecoyote thing should STILL BE A SECRET? this girl. still this girl. it's always going to be this girl. ]

[Rock Lee looks on, eager to get any tips, but then he looks shocked as he sees her fangs.]

Ah... s-such teeth! Malia-san... H-how? Is this what truly efficient flossing can achieve?!

[ she closes her mouth again -- except not really because, oh. she lifts a hand to touch her teeth and quickly snaps it shut, retracting all those fangs.

after a moment, she drops her hand from her mouth. totally normal teeth once again!! uhm. ]

Yeah, you should floss. A lot. Probably all the time.

I will! I'll take up special flossing training in order to be like you, Malia-san!! I only do not understand how this would make me less human!

[He looks ready to race off, but something gives him pause.]

First, assume a fighting stance!

[scenting]

[ oh... okay!!

she sort of looks down at herself and thinks about it for a moment before lifting her hands in two very sloppy fists. it's seriously the most embarrassing stance ever, she has no idea what she's doing. ]

Ah... Try to do it more like this! [And now he goes into his own, tigher fighting stance.] You have to have a firm defense!

[scenting]

[ alright, sure! she takes in his stance a little before doing her very best to mimic it.

which she does pretty well! it's not perfect but it's much better at least. ]

Much better! [He chimes affirmatively, with a supportive smile.]

Now, from here, we shift our right leg like so, and... [He demonstrates a roundhouse kick!]

[scenting]

[ she grins herself. hell yeah, she's doing this!!

and then she watches him and that's... ah. hm. she chews her lip lightly, looking at the dummy she's next to and... makes an attempt!

her foot connects and she, uh, she might have just broken the dummy in half. as in half the dummy flew right across the room and the bottom half has just fallen over pathetically. ]

Oh, whoops.

[He gasps in delighted shock!]

M- Malia-san! You...

You're so strong!!

[scenting]

[ she still looks sort of apologetic. ]

I didn't mean to break it though!

But you did! That was your fighting spirit speaking for you. [He gives her a thumbs up, seeming indifferent to the dummy's destruction. Didn't he break one too]
