A. CERES Marketplace

[Rock Lee happens to be at the general store, collecting groceries. There's seemingly a number of normal products in his shopping cart... but then there's also massive amounts of packages of floss. In fact, he even seems to be intensely flossing as he waits in line and focusing on his canines. What could it mean...?

Or you could find him at a clothing store, staring at the variety of neckwear.]

B. CERES Gym

[Another day at the gym. He's been working harder ever since he lost his job at the sports store. Here at the gym, he acts as a martial arts instructor. But, he's dealing with a problem passed down by whoever his boss happens to be: apparently some of his students have complained about his workouts being too intense. He has to do something to amend that.]

For fellow instructors

[If Rock Lee sees anyone else who teaches at the gym, he will handstand-run right at them.]

Excuse me!! I would like a moment of your time, please!

For students or anyone else

[Once he sees anyone he's trained with, or someone who looks like a potential new student, he will try greeting them with a meek wave. Can he keep down the intensity?!]

C. Ramen Place

[Rock Lee is taking orders at the same ramen place where Naruto works.]

Would you like anything, esteemed customer?! I can guarantee that our curry ramen will make you feel more lively than ever!!

[ Cooped up his home for about a week now, he's decided to impulse-try some ramen for some weird, convoluted educational reason. He's staring blankly at the menu when Rock Lee speaks up, and then, accompanying his words with an all-suffering sigh: ] Oh, you're that guy who was wondering about what turning 18 meant.

[ Elliot Nightray: paragon of useless trivia. ]

Curry ramen? Sounds weird. I doubt it'd cause anything but indigestion.

Ah, I recall your voice! [He says with a smile. Parrot of useless trivia?]

But... That might not be the case, sir!! Your stomach needs true strength. Then such a ramen will be truly invigorating! It is one way to truly be a hot-blooded youth!!

[ THIS IS A LITTLE STRANGE, he wasn't talking than loud when he answered his network question earlier, so ... ! ]

I don't see how my personal motivation will change anything about the taste. What do you put in those soups, anyways? [ He gestures to the people eating some ramen a table over. ] They smell weird.

[Rock Lee chuckles lightly and smiles as if hiding a great secret.]

A great many things, sir. One would find quite the variety of spices and herbs, plus other delicious ingredients! You may find it to your liking. Also, I believe that there are no limits when it comes to the power of personal motivation!

Wouldn't smell have some factor in the matter? It has a weird stench. I could smell it from the minute I entered this place.

[ He's just suspicious this food is drugged to make him shell out his credits over a half-baked meal or something. ]

[ Well, he wasn't expecting that. ] Alright. Unless you plan to take a portion from one of your patrons, you'll need to prepare a portion for yourself.

[ Elliot levels off with a decidedly critical stare. ] How long does it take to prepare the dish, anyways?

Yes... I do not wish to deprive any of my customers of this spicy taste!

It will take about half an hour to prepare...

Well, alright then? Do you need help making it, or ... ? I don't have a ready-plate in my possession, so I can't have you merely taste-test mine.

[ He hasn't even paid for anything yet ... ]

Ah... No! I work here. I can prepare it for myself...

I've got it!! I will prepare it, and taste-test it, and then you can be free to have the rest. The price will be on me, as a youthful courtesy!
