Welcome to your life!

So you've been introduced to the wonderful world of Tellus, and now, you're wondering where to go. Never fear, for the wonderful CEO and his team of supportive companions have ensured that you won't be completely lost!

Heading towards the residential district, you find yourself facing some lovely hovering signs directing you to the large, beautiful dome garden in the center of the district. It's a rather large and intriguing location, and it's so huge that you may need to get a bike or transport to get where the arrows are pointing you to. Still confused? No trouble! The cute androids are willing to walk you there, or point you to the garden carts to transport you around.

Once you get to the flower garden in the eastern garden sector, you'll find a large and flowery ground with pretty streams against the backdrop of the high rises of the city where a Job Fair will currently be held. This is where you'll be getting a look at the very many jobs available within the Colony, and these are just a few to start off with!

Of course, that's not all to do here. Feel free to make your way around and see if you can find someone you know, or stop by the food stalls where a variety of meals to tempt you are around. Take some to your new residential spaces, and be sure to try the special delicacy of the planet, "Knight Burgers" are being served. The "Garden Burgers" are the vegetarian option, so don't miss out!

Meanwhile, your resident CEO is clad in an apron, happily grilling away and handing out succulent burgers to his new arrivals.
"So we meet again, hm? Oh? You don't remember me? Well, don't worry. We'll get to know one another very well soon enough. In the meantime, try a burger."
He holds out a single burger on a spatula with a smile, waiting for it to be accepted.

PHASE I
[ 12:01 ] The hologram trees flicker to life as they shed petals around the area. It's a brand new semester. Will CEO-senpai notice you? There are several booths set up around the garden where characters can meet their new employers and start asking questions. They can also get glimpses of their new work place and pick up their uniforms/training manuals. If your character is still undecided about their unemployment, they can take the opportunity to see what other kind of options are available. There will also be a booth for the CYbuddies and HOLOgm if they want to sample the new technology for themselves.
PHASE II
[ ??:?? ] One of the booths has several helmets characters can wear to upload themselves into ViViD, a state of the art virtual reality game, and enter one of the game stages to participate in a solo or team mission. They can sample a few minutes of gameplay as they enter a short battle with one of the NPC creatures. They'll quickly become familiar with the state-of-the-art technology as all pain and wounds experienced inside will feel real and will appear on each character's body. But what an awesome game it is! With amazing digital quality surround, it's a world like none other... but be careful not to fall too fast! (Those monsters even smell real, don't they?) Feel free to talk to Vidia, the game host, if you need help getting things going!
PHASE III
[ 14:30 ] The afternoon drones on as normal. Everything seems a little too mundane. Too uneventful. Some professional masseuses are on hand to lure you away and relax some of those frown lines and brow wrinkles. In the midst of it all, you find yourself starting to notice that the hologram trees are shifting ever so slightly. Within them, there's a glimpse of something from back home. A loved one, perhaps? A familiar face? You feel compelled to follow them further away from the party and into one of the quieter areas. The image then shifts into a warped version of yourself before vanishing entirely. Other holograms will start flickering around you at the same time, showing buildings from home -your house? your old school? your work place? -Until there's a shadow overwhelming it, spreading outward slowly.

Then something else appears within the darkness for a moment, lost in a single blink. That one second passes so swiftly it's barely noticeable.
PHASE IV
[ 15:22 ] The garden party & barbecue is winding down. Your resident CEO has run out of burgers to give, but he's happy to pass around drinks instead. The other stalls are still open though! Come collect a few frozen margaritas or ice cream to kick back and enjoy while under the sun. There's even a raffle for those who deigned to spend some money on a ticket. The prize is a luxury getaway weekend at one of Cerealia's finest apartment buildings. You'll get the penthouse suite for two whole nights and all the amenities you can think of at your disposal. Don't wait! Hurry up and sign up for it now.

[ For those who choose to participate, winners will be chosen at random by RNG. ]
BONUS
[ why:o'clock ] There's a bidet hidden in one of the garden bathrooms. Has your character ever enjoyed the grand luxury of a bidet? It's time for them to get acquainted with the sweet, sweet feeling of being clean.
[ The garden party & job fair will be long, so take your time enjoying both and dreading what's to come after. Remember to apply proper warnings on threads with trigger-y or inappropriate material and do let a mod know if your thread careens off into maiming or canoodling so we can lock the log. ]

//RUN.EXE
Welcome to CEREALIA's Official Intro Log. Please forgive our appearance as we are still going through the final stages game completion… mostly fighting with table codes. While most pages are under development and/or hidden from the public eye, please don't feel discouraged, since knowing everything doesn't always make the experience. Your characters will know as little as you. For your convenience, we have compiled a post detailing everyone's arrival experience. Please read that and this ooc post thoroughly before playing. Thank you!

Technology or not, I don't trust it.. [ Shinpachi hardly knows who he's speaking up to, though - he's just staring and squinting at the CYbuddies since he trusts those things as far as he could throw them. It's the snake and the mini-crocodile he spotted, okay, if they have fake versions of those things, then surely these people are just messed up in the head or something. ]

I can get cats or dogs or whatever, but why would they wanna keep any of those other things as a pet?!

[ Yeah, he's mostly just.. ranting to himself starting with what she said.. he'll notice he's actually talking to someone in a moment, Mitsuru, until then you'll have to excuse his manners.. ]

[ There's something about that statement that makes Mitsuru chuckle. It reminded her of something that Iori would say when confronted with one of these kinds of things. ]

People have differing tastes. There are cat people, dog people and perhaps snake people. I have yet to meet anybody who expressed a preference for snakes as a pet, but there are some rather wealthy individuals who do have such... eccentric tastes.

[ A hint of a shrug. After seeing Personas take various forms (including a penis on a chariot, she never knew why there was a particular attachment for that one), the CYbuddies shapes seemed rather tame. ]

[ Shinpachi might have seen some weird stuff in Zelien too - snakes a lot bigger than the one over there, especially - but that doesn't mean he still has to be comfortable with the idea of people being totally cool to keep these as pets. It's why he raises his eyebrows as he looks at Mitsuru, almost like he's baffled by the very idea. ]

People'd want to keep 'em as pets? [ ??? ] Don't they know those things eat people?

[ Obviously not these small ones, there's no way a person would fit in there, but.. you know.. ]
