[ Mitsutada had come over for his bi-daily housekeeping duty, and Shishou had come back just as he was sweeping the floor.

Which means he kind of half-drops his broom, using his foot to support it against the wall while he tries to not lose his grip on the tiny dragon - which has now taken quite the interest in his apron. ]

This? [ The hell is this? Where did it even come from/ ] It's a... dragon? Why'd you get me a dragon?

[ IT'S CUTE AND FITTING, BUT... ]

[ It's so so great that someone cleans the house around here. God bless Mitsutada for doing chores because your work might have just increased 10-fold. They don't leave messes but there are the dead bodies.... dead rats, that is.

Anyways, Shishiou gives him a grin, and what's this? He's holding up what appears to be an eye patch much too small for him. ]

It's a gift for you! See, you'll even match too. [ Here, he'll hand you that so you can put it on the baby dragon yourself. ] If you don't take him in I'll have no choice but to take him back to the store and he'll be homeless again!

[ You see this right here, Shishiou? That's a critical hit right to Melonslasher' heart. ]

Alright, alright. I'll take him. [ He's able to hold the dragon with one hand because it's sunk its teeth into his apron. Welp. ] Did you get one for everyone else too?

[ Said while trying to figure out how the small eyepatch is supposed to fit on the dragon. It keeps moving, so he's having a bit of a hard time maneuvering. ]

Yup! See, this one's for me.

[ HE HOLDS UP HIS CUTE LION!!! Shishiou will probably name him Simba. Eventually. If they ever watch Disney. ]

But maybe your dragon can help you out with stuff! [ Although it's hard to imagine a dragon helping out with chores, he's sure under the Melonslasher's care he can learn to be a competent dragon. He's positive Simba here won't be of any use...

Setting his baby lion down on the floor so he can go exploring, Shishiou just kinda... watches Mitsutada for a while before blurting out: ] Err... do you want some help? [ He can at least hold him still for you. ]

That's a good idea. [ As he thinks about it, he's already seeing the possibilities. It'd fit Masamune's sword to have a dragon with him, doesn't it? A dragon by itself is cool, but if he could train the creature to do little tricks like fetch things, or fly around - that would be even cooler. He'd have gotten Kuri one after seeing Shishiou hand CYbuddies out, but the other tachi might not appreciate it that much. ]

Mm, could you help me hold him for me?

[ Dropping the dragon into Shishou's hands after extricating him. Those jaws have some bite.

It's much easier to put the eyepatch on this time, so he ties a little slipknot behind the dragon's head and picks him up again. ]

Perfect. Now he looks cool too!

[ ~~omg he can show masamune his cool tiny dragon when he's here~~

Without any hesitation, Shishiou takes the dragon in his hands so that his sword comrade may properly put the eye patch on him. After it's done, he turns the dragon around for closer look. ]

Uwwoh! He really does look super cool. [ A SUCCESS. And Shishiou would admire him for a little longer... until the baby dragon suddenly starts to snap his jaws at him, causing Shishiou to immediately lengthen his arms so that there's some distance between them.

Maybe he was after the nue... ]

Super strong too!

[ He quickly removes the dragon from Shishiou's hands once the CYbuddy starts nipping at the other tachi, chuckling a little as the creature scrambles up his arm to settle itself on his shoulder. ]

Mm, he's a feisty one! Strong and cool, like a true dragon!

[ You said the 'cool' word, Shishiou. He'll be indebted to you for the rest of the day. ]

I'd suppose I need to give him a name, don't I? Maybe I should ask Masamune-kou. [ Though that is said mostly as an afterthought, as he returns his attention to his friend. ] Do you have some sort of manual on how to take care of him?

Masamune-kou, Masamune-kou... I like it!

[ You have Shishiou's stamp of approval now. But at the question, he starts digging into his plastic bag of toys and receipts and ah yes, manuals! A bunch of manuals! ]

Wait... let me see. I should have one for Masamune-kou, no problem. [ He says that but he's having a hard time looking for it. This one's for a dog... a cat. Oh, that's for his lion baby. He should hold onto that. Another dog manual? Jeez, where is that thing... ]

[ 3 MINUTES OF SEARCHING LATER...

And TADA, he finally pulls out the dragon manual. ]

Gotcha! Here ya go!

[ He's confused when Shishiou starts calling the dragon by Masamune's name, but he doesn't comment on it because maybe he is the one mishearing. When the other tachi starts searching, he vaguely considers the prospect of helping - but with the small opening of the bag, it's probably not a good idea.

When Shishiou finally gives him the manual, he takes it with a grateful nod. ]

Thanks.

[ Flipping through it now. The dragon doesn't need to eat food all the time, which is simultaneously a relief and a shame - but it doesn't poop either, which he supposes is a blessing. ]

I'll take good care of 'im. You can count on me.

[ Lots of dogs barking, cats meowing, with a variety of animals scrambling up and down the room — sometimes words get lost in the noise... One day he will have to correct him, but for now he gives him a big grin, happy with his response. ]

I know you can do it. If you teach him a trick or two remember to show me.

I will. [ He's already got plans. ] Look after the rest of them for me.

[ He waves vaguely towards the inside of the swordhaus, so the gesture could be interpreted as referring to the CYbuddies or the rest of the swords. ]

Say, have you got anything that needs cleaning? I can give it a look after I'm done sweeping.

[ And straight back to housewife mode it is. ]

N-No.

[ The "no" sharply contrasts the firm nod Shishiou gives him at his first request, meaning yes, there is something that needs cleaning but no, it's not something you should worry yourself about. The nervous laugh only makes this more apparent.

SERIOUSLY THOUGH, HAVE YOU SEE THEIR ROOM....... Mutsu + CCO = Messy Combo. ]

[ Clearly that 'no' means a 'yes', so he just sighs and rests his hand on the broom handle. ]

Tell me what happened, I'll go fix it.

[ And if you don't, he'll bust in and judge firsthand... explain yourself, Shishiou. That might be less embarrassing. ]

There's no need for that! Really! Mutsu and I were just having a pillow fight the other night, and it got kinda messy.

[ They also built a pillow fort. Either way, things got knocked down... and there's no telling where the floor is. ]

[ You know what pillows are made of? FEATHERS. ]

Did you break the pillows?

We're not that bad!

[ JEEZ.

... ] After Mutsu broke one we stopped immediately.

Mutsu broke one.

[ He rolls his eyes almost immediately, accompanying the gesture with a sigh - but he doesn't seem too frustrated. ]

Just one, right?

[ Making his way towards Shishiou and Mutsu's room now. Don't try to stop him, because he'll barge past you...! ]

Yeah... but....

[ He won't stop him. Instead he just follows, staying right behind him so he could eye the mess when it is finally revealed. ]

There was still a lot of feathers.

You don't say.

[ There's another sigh before he sucks in a breath through his teeth. ]

Go neaten up the rest of your room and chuck the feathers in the middle on the floor. I'll get a vacuum cleaner.

[ Because he really isn't going to bother with a broom. ]
