Opening Night [OPEN]

When: Some Friday after her post.
Where: Opera House
What: Nonon has been working with the opera house's orchestra, and being the controlling girl she is, decided to stage a few concerts. Formal dress is expected. Nui Harime interrupts and kisses Nonon.
Rating/Warning: None likely.



It's opening night, and there's a nice big display board in front of the opera house announcing the first performance of Nonon Jakuzure conducting the house orchestra. Even with a little stylized depiction of Nonon with her signature pink hair and smug grin.

Formal dress is expected, though some people might be able to sneak inside in casual wear, just don't let Nonon catch you. She's going to be in the front of the house though, inside past the ticket booths where people can pick up tickets set aside for them ahead of time, if Nonon had done so. Of course, it's about as analogue as you can imagine, Nonon wasn't about to use the Cerevices to do ticketing, that just isn't classical, it would ruin the entire mood. No, she wants lines and printed tickets.

After greeting any friends or acquaintances the lights in the hall lower once, then twice, signalling the start. She disappears into the back, only to reappear on stage under a bright spotlight with the loud, almost deafening sound of a whistle.

"Entrance March! Under the Double Eagle!" She waves a large pink baton this way then back again. "Now, prepare for a jaunty, thrilling, and mind-blowing performance!"

She's dressed in a flashy conductor's outfit, and proceeds to lead the orchestra into their first song. The rest of more standard affairs of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, music people might have heard if they are from Earth, or somewhere vaguely Earth-like. In general it's not actually that long of a concert, no more than an hour and a half or so, with a short intermission. She wants to hit people with the loudest, most impressive sort of music she can, leaving them wanting more.

Sometime towards the end of the performance, the lights go out completely, only to return with a spotlight on one adorable blonde girl giggling. She invades the stage as if she belongs there, striding right up to Nonon to give her a kiss on the conductor's angry, shocked face, before floating away impossibly. Holding in her anger, Nonon wipes her lips with the back of her hand, blushing furiously, and proceeds with the last song after yelling at Nui Harime, something about getting even with her.

By the end she'll be hanging around the stage, meeting anyone who wishes to speak to her, and then going backstage to change if certain close relations wish to meet her there. She expects flowers to be thrown though of course, maybe even a standing ovation~.

[ The sound of high heel boots hitting the pavement can be heard behind Nui, as Ryuko approaches her enemy in her synchronized form. It's nothing like the sound of Satsuki Kiryuin's grandiose heel clicking, however, as Ryuko carries herself with a little more swag than her older sister. When she's within hearing distance, she commands Nui's attention with a slow golf clap. An applause for her earlier performance.

Nui may have rattled Ryuko in their last encounter, with her sudden appearance and talk of meeting Ryuko's friends. This time, however, the girl was ready for the grand couturier. ]

Had your fun, Harime? If you're gonna be handin' out kisses and autographs all night, how 'bout I get a little something, too?

[ oh dear, that's the kind of sound that sends a shiver down her spine. she doesn't have to turn around to know that ryuko is ready for a fight, and she's just as prepared. ]

You betcha! That little pimple can actually be pretty amusing if you push her the right way... But I'm much more glad that you're here. That means the fun can keep going!

[ she knows that ryuko means business now, and nui is excited to see how she can make her cower. she turns and gracefully hops off of her perch, taking out her half of the blade and holding it delicately in her hands. ]

Sorry, Ryuko-chan! Finders keepers, losers weepers, right? I earned this blade fair and square! There's no way I'd give up something so precious!

You mean you earned it by killing an old man and running off like a little coward? That sounds about right.

But I'm here now, so why don't ya try pushing my buttons instead of that idiot's?

[ Ryuko got stronger and faster in her last battle with Nui, and has no doubt grown even more in power after nearly dying once while in Cerealia. To her, Nui is just a pest who has something that rightfully belongs to Ryuko, and this encounter is less about revenge than it is about neutralizing a threat.

If Nui can see how much stronger Ryuko has gotten, perhaps she'll think twice about going after her friends. ]

Your dear old dad was messing with stuff he shouldn't have, you know! He got what was coming to him, whether you like it or not!

[ ryuko being "stronger" isn't something that intimidates nui - if anything, it excites her for a more interesting fight. the cherry on top would be getting her angry again, but just seeing her bleed out would be enough. ]

Sure! And once I'm done playing with you, I'll go twice as hard on her!

[ Ryuko's grip on her weapon is tight, despite her seemingly calm approach towards Nui. The Ryuko of old would have recklessly charged towards her enemy, but she fights with clarity now, feeling more in-sync with Senketsu than she has ever been. ]

I ain't playin' around, Harime. It's your last chance to give up.

[ When she's close enough to Nui, Ryuko holds her hand out as if she's really expecting her to just hand over the weapon.

It's possible that she's just mocking her. ]
