![]() ViViD's usual worlds are unfortunately down for maintenance. While CERES' programmers work on getting it back up and running, all new entrees this round will be going through a different level than usual. Only a single world is accessible at the moment, a simple one entitled 'CERESLearn.' "What the $%@& is this?" you must be thinking. Well, it's simple! It's a study program, of course! CERES' advanced AI technology is here to make sure you learn and that you learn sexily. Whether or not you pay attention to the actual content is up to you, the player. Please enjoy it while it lasts. They're here to teach you a variety of subjects and also to make you feel vaguely uncomfortable all over. New arrivals and those logging into ViViD will first find themselves in a classroom with a new operator greeting them rather than Vidia.

Welcome to CEREALIA's latest intro post. For your convenience, we have compiled a post detailing everyone's usual arrival experience (which is not entirely applicable this round for reasons stated above^) and a FAQ that should explain everything in more detail. Please read them thoroughly before playing. Thank you! |
phase III
He recognizes this boy, but wow, does he look like he's in much worse shape than before, though that might be because it's not nearly so dark this time.]
You look as though you've just been dropped off by a storm.
[He winces in sympathy, approaching slowly.]
Are you in need of some help?
no subject
[ Though regardless, he opens his eyes in surprise as he's approached, though Cynbel isn't treated to quite as chilly a reception, at least. Just, you know. Mostly. ]
Unless you can heal it, no, not really.
no subject
But right now, Cynbel keeps moving closer, concerned but trying not to crowd too quickly.]
Unfortunately not. I don't have that sort of magic. I could, however, direct you to a doctor, or call one here!
[There's probably some around here... That's one good thing about those CereVice things, compared to running around by himself back home to find someone.]
no subject
A recommendation will do. I'd likely not have time to pay a visit to a doctor today anyways, so I'll simply go tomorrow, most likely.
[ Ciel sighs lightly and dismissively ] It looks worse than it is, really. I was able to run away from that damned bug woman, after all.
no subject
I should hope so. You're here, after all, and uneaten. How else would you be here, unless you were carried?
[He shrugs, then settles himself down in a nearby chair. It just makes him look even smaller, considering he takes up so little space on it.]
In any case, it's good to see you alive, despite your bad luck in this place so far.
no subject
My luck has been terrible. Is it always like this? I should leave immediately if it is.
no subject
Did you not listen to what you were told, when you first arrived? You can't leave, even if you want to!
no subject
And do you believe everything you're told? I'd hardly call those in charge trustworthy.
no subject
[Cynbel shakes his head, guessing where Ciel is going with this.]
But I do know the difference between reality and an illusion, and whatever it was that I saw before coming here--what they called our worlds dying-- happened.
Besides, if they went to such trouble to bring you here, you can't possibly think you can leave so easily, can you?
