[ Had Ciel been Rin's side, there would have likely been a lot more shouting and demanding answers, but Rin's just been through several circles of hell worth of fear, so he's not about to be judging. Which is why he scowls - fiercely, mind you, he's not letting some irritating twerp show him up - but holds still nonetheless, casually rucking up the edges of his medical gown to better hide Ciel behind him. A shadow passes along the far end of the hall, pulling a creaking cart behind it. Rin holds his breath through it, spooked despite his tough-guy front.
