[Honestly, Miyako feels unsettled that Saiduq can read her so well when she feels like she can't tell what he's thinking most of the time. The two of them are so similar, and in some ways, he's the only being in the universe who can understand parts of who she is, and yet... She doesn't understand him. It'd be one thing if he was just as unknowable to other people, but when she sees him interacting with the others, she can't help but to feel that they understand and know him so much better than she ever will.
It feels like a message. A way for the universe to say that she'll always be alone. Even though now she knows that's not true, it's hard to banish the thought entirely. It's hard to not feel affected. She'll try to play it off, to hide it, but should she even try when he understands her so much better than she understands him?]
...I owe you more than words of gratitude, Alcor. They may be unnecessary to you, but they are important to me. They are almost too important for me to say, even though I know they ought to be said.
