[ Maybe you were out shopping, or on your way to work, but wherever you are you might notice something out of place. Are those posters taped haphazardly across... well. Nearly everything? It's probably an overzealous pet owner, you might think, or a new store advertising its existence. Then you get closer and--




If you follow the trail, you'll find Chuutarou (and any poor person he may have gotten to help him) taping them up wherever he can reach.


Join him? Question his sanity? Call in to report a tip? ]

[It didn't take long for Sayo to see the posters and realised who might have made them. So he went looking for the one responsible and find him in the middle of putting up another poster.]

Chuutarou-san?

[ Leia recognizes the face on the posters immediately. Her eyes widen in surprise, since Sousei never mentioned Mr. Crabhead having a brother (let alone two), but nevertheless, she follows a trail that leads right to Chuutarou. Seeing him, everything makes sense--

From where the posters have been taped (low to the ground), and the handwriting on them.

She can't help but smile, expression softening as she observes him... but she'll finally step in when she notices him struggling to tape up one in particular that's not going quite as high as he wants.

She steps behind him and gently reaches for it, but doesn't snatch it out of his hand. That'd be mean! ]

Can I help?

[What is this..............what is this pile of posters, what is all of this mess.......]

What are you doing?

[Ah, Sousei is still so good with kids.]

[Lab studies the poster with interest then he looks up and sees someone putting up more of these poster. He goes up to them.]

Do you need any help, my child?

[Well after the posters are up, Kagami finds one. Or rather, Kagami is skulking around the city, and a poster that has since fallen to the ground finds itself sticking to his sandal. It takes him a couple meters to realize, and he lifts his foot to shake it off only to see Kumou Tenka's face grinning back at him.

Who would do this.... Oh.

Wherever Chuutarou is in the city today, at some point Kagami is just going to turn up. He took the poster with him, apparently solely to wave it lazily in Chuutarou's face.]

Your handwriting sucks. [hi buddy]

[ One hand is still holding up half the poster from falling and the other reaching for the few inch piece of tape he has stuck to the first hand when Chuutarou turns to acknowledge Sayo ]

Sayo! What're you doing around here?

[ Chuutarou turns and gives the most proud smile ever at Sousei ]

I'm putting up posters, Sou-nii!

[ maybe you need glasses, Sousei... you'd think it'd be obvious what he's doing, what with all the posters everywhere. ]

[ Chuutarou blinks in surprise for a moment when a hand hovers near the poster he's holding. He swivels his head a bit to look over his shoulder where the voice came from. Seeing Leia he lights up and smiles ]

Yes please! Ten-nii always said it's funner and easier with more people.

[ So he'll move to the side so she can work without him in the way, and once she has the poster well in hand Chuutarou will grab the stack of posters and tape roll he left on the ground. ]

My name is Chuutarou, by the way. What's yours?

[ Chuutarou had been walking home from his courier work, delivering packages, when Kagami just appeared and Chuutarou nearly tipped over into the street. Thanks.

After a quick moment to recover his balance Chuutarou finally looks over at Kagami enough to recognize the poster and who holds it.

Then he lights up (and totally ignores the comment)] Hi Kagami! Did you find Ten-nii?!

[ It's not like you and your fishfingers can do any better--]

[Give him a pen and let's find out?! But only if Chuutarou wants a poster about how Tenka owes him a tooth--]

Hmm? No, no. [He's really, honestly just here to be rude about the poster... but is anyone surprised by that. He looks at it again skeptically.]

How d'you lose something that big and loud?

I'm looking around.

[He's patrolling! Okay, not really, since he didn't have any order for it. But he's looking around at the shops and see what's nice to get. He looks at the poster and read the words.

A poster for a lost person. He doesn't know if he can believe Tenka would return or not. But...]

Do you need help?

[ With the gardens in mind, IV is on his way to a quieter place when the sea of posters draws his attention. The walls are practically swimming in them. No wonder – he spots the kid taping them up not too far away. So he strides up to a poster nearby and skims its contents with his hands on his waist. ]

"Crabhead"? Does he seriously respond to that?

Sure! [ he sticks the bit of tape needed to keep this one up, then picks up his pile of posters ] If you help too we can surely get these everywhere faster.

[ This sea of posters isn't even half of what he's made either! There's a neat(-ish) stack of them by his feet, not to mention the other places he managed to already hit. Chuutarou will just finish this poster and then make his way closer to IV to talk, looking happy at the interest ]

Yeah! Sou-nii calls him it all the time, plus some of his friends call him that too.

[ Not like IV is much better a name, lbr ]

Oh. [ Kagami needs to start a passive aggressive sticky note war with Tenka. And probably Sousei. It's the only solution. Obviously.

Chuutarou will look very sad for a moment, but he'll bounce back fast enough--Sousei said Tenka will come back, and the posters need some time to work.

A shrug. ] Ten-nii went to work one day and didn't come back. When we tried calling his phone, it kept saying the number didn't exist. Sou-nii said he would come back for us though, so I put up the posts so people knew to watch for him! [ he's so proud of his idea ]

[ Chuutarou stands back up straight from where he was reaching for another poster at what was probably addressing him. ]

Labrador-san? Do you want to help? I'm trying to help Ten-nii come home!

[finatic]

[He'll stick them to Chuutarou to ensure they make it safely back. Perfect.

This is the first time Kagami is hearing about a missing Tenka, though... Government Jerkass mentioned the Kumous as a unit, so he just kind of assumed they were all around. Not that Tenka missing is a dark spot on his mood or anything, quite the opposite--]

They're falling down. [for emphasis, he flicks away the one he has and lets it flutter to the ground. thanks Kagami...]

Y'know, they look a bit like wanted posters. Someone's going to think your Ten-nii did something horrible. [haha] How ironic!

[ It's infinitely better, thanks. ]

Heh, what a pet name.

[ The poster says "brother," but there's no easy way to tell which names are supposed to be the relatives. So IV gestures to the names on the bottom while he looks at Chuutarou. ]

Which one are you?

[ .. ah. Well, now that's a face he recognizes. And it's not like he doesn't already know that Tenka is gone - he's known for a long while now. And it's a little disconcerting that Tenka has been gone for this long. Maybe it means he won't get back at all. (And that means he'll miss a good friend, and that he'll have to worry about Sousei even more.)

But these posters clearly aren't Sousei's handwork. So when he sees someone else putting them up instead, it starts to make a lot more sense. He even vaguely remembers seeing this kid around before, huh..?

Shinpachi squats down to seem a little less intimidating. ]

Yo. That guy.. Do you think he's hiding that well?

[Peko's just on her way to work when she spots Tenka's face out of the corner of her eye. For just an instant, her heart leaps in excitement, before she recogizes it as a picture and bothers to read the text. "Lost brother," is it...?

A glance further down the street reveals just who's putting the posters up, and for a second, she thinks it's Soramaru. Today's a day for being wrong, it seems, as this kid is a good bit shorter, but still clearly related to the older two Kumou.]

Kumou Chuutarou?

[The assumption she feels comfortable making after narrowing down the poster. Don't mind this really intense-looking teenager staring down at him, sword bag on her back as always.]

[ he absolutely, positively did not expect to find his little brother doing this. with a city so big and with so many things they aren't used to, soramaru doesn't like leaving chuutarou alone for too long. he's easy enough to track down, but --

'Cause the lady on the TV said if a family member is missing you put up posters, and they get found faster because people know they're missing! So I thought it would help Ten-nii come back faster.
