Grell marked her place in her notbook and stood at the knock. Instead of just opening the door with a command from her device, she opened the it herself by pressing a button next to the door. Sure, it slid to the side, but at least she did it herself.

"So glad you came, Rip! Do come in!" Grell stepped aside, welcoming her guest. "You look well."
