Rating/Warning: None???

02/11: ADVENTURES IN THE LAND OF (MISSING) GROCERIES.
[The first day starts out pretty normally, for the most part. She can see people just fine, the tools she uses at her job are visible, and there's no indication that CERES has done something to screw them over yet again. By the time her shift at the coffee shop is over, there is no reason for her to suspect that something is wrong. Too bad that sense of normalcy doesn't really last.

The effects start kicking in during the late evening, when she's browsing a store that sells groceries, household items, and things that are necessary for day-to-day life. Her shopping basket is filled with water bottles and hygienic products, which are fine on their own, but she's running low on coffee. So, naturally, she turns to the aisle that stocks coffee blends and other related foodstuffs — and finds it empty.]

... What the hell? Did they sell everything out?

[Yeah. She's more shocked than annoyed at the moment. Mostly, she's wondering how the heck they managed to run out of everything without restocking. Like, this is just ridiculous to her.

Of course, the aisle is actually pretty well stocked, with no missing products. The thing is, that she can't see it, and she's not privy to that fact. Whoops.]

02/12: DID NOT SEE THAT COMING. LITERALLY.
[By now, she's aware that there's something seriously wrong with her sight. Her sense of touch is fine, as is her sense of smell, so it's not hard to notice that she can't see things that are there according to her other senses. Unfortunately for her, knowing that isn't the same as being constantly aware of it, and... there are some hiccups along the way.

Like, say, when she accidentally knocks your character's cup of coffee over smack-dab in the middle of the metro-rail station.]

Shit. [HISSING THAT SO QUICKLY, and turning around to face the poor unfortunate soul she may or may not have nearly bowled over just now. It's possible that she may have instead knocked it over with her elbow, while weaving through the stalls, booths and vending machines in the station, but the end result is the same. There's something liquid on the floor, and she can't actually tell what it is. She looks annoyed, flustered, and so done with this, all at once.]

I'm sorry. I'll — buy you another one, or whatever.

[ALTERNATIVELY, AN OPTION B: You may find her crouched down in front of one of the vending machines, holding a can of black coffee in her hand. She obviously knows it's there by touch, but her eyes don't quite meet the can. It's like she's looking right through it.

Which she is, and she's totally making some aggravated, tired sound in the back of her throat. She shouldn't have expected vending machine coffee to be any different.

... And she really should move, unless she's planning to make a queue in front of that particular vending machine.]

02/13: HOW SPOOKY.
[Going to work, despite knowing that she can't see anything coffee related? A very bad idea, but she figures she should be fine as long as it's just the little details that she can't see.

She is so, so, so wrong.

As soon as she steps into the coffee shop, she notices several things. For starters, she can't see any of the furniture. All the tables, chairs, and counters are gone. The equipment used to serve the drinks, sandwiches and pastries are gone, as well, and all she can really see are the doors and walls. The customers and employees are all visible, luckily, but. Uh. Anyone who is currently sitting down seems to be floating, according to her own perception of things. Great.

Here are several things that Touka will be doing. Pick your poison:
A) Should you be a customer, she'll be approaching you with a notepad and a pencil. There is nothing odd about this picture, except that when you tell her your order, she'll be taking a second or two to feel the notepad in her hand before carefully scribbling the order down. Apparently, she can't see the lines, because anything she writes will be going all over the place. It's like the tour all over again. Help.

B) Co-workers, brace yourself. There is going to be one (1) 5'1" teenager chucking her notepad your way, looking more or less like she's about to stab someone with the pencil still held in her hand.]
Fill that order and make it fast.
[Because, apparently? She can't do it herself. Any protests or comments on her awful handwriting will be met with a glare. Hurry up, bucko.

C) FINALLY, here's the third and best option (for her). Because not being able to see anything is a major roadblock, she's just going to, you know. Take her apron off, toss her work equipment on the counter, and walk right out of the shop — and probably into your character, who was just reaching for the door or checking out the display. How cliche.]
02/11 - 02/13: CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE.
[If you have another scenario you want to try out, go for it! Toss your own event affected to character at her, bother her in other locations around Cerealia (barring the pleasure district, oops), or literally bump into her. Alternatively, if your character has a strong physical resemblance with any of her co-workers (or, wears a similar uniform), she might have trouble seeing them as the days roll on by. By 02/13, they should be invisible to her. Have fun playing Casper, if this option appeals to you.]

[ Now, Jaune isn't the biggest fan of coffee, that's more of Pyrrha's thing while he likes to have a bit of OJ through a straw and all. Not the most mature teenager, clearly. However, recent developments have caused him to feel unnaturally cold, and anything he touched would have been quite chilly, too. It's for this reason that he decides to try a cup of hot coffee on his way to doing absolutely nothing at work, to see if he can finally feel some warmth, until his latest FaceBook friend Touka bumps and spills that shit all over him. Of course, when he screams, it's because it feels like he just took the ice bucket challenge more than the fact that his face is slightly burned.

Thankfully he can't feel that, and it should heal eventually due to the nature of his abundant Aura. ]

Yeeeeooooowww--!!! Haahhh!!!!! Ohoho!!! [ he starts jumping and flailing around a little bit ] Oookay, j-just dance it off... haaah......

[So far, Anna didn't seem to be having any problems herself. Although, at first, she had to wonder if she walking a lot more than usual. That's strange, when did she feel like she need to breathe more? Either way, it didn't seem to bother her that much...for the most part.

When she finally reached the store though? Touka might notice a young girl to the side with her hands on her knees breathing heavily. But when she finally spoke up...?]

What...what are you talking about? There's a bunch of stuff here, c-can't you see them?

[Right into him... he should have expected something like this probably, but he was really just innocently passing by. Except now instead he's being slammed into by a familiar face (even if they'd both probably rather forget the entire tour thing), and he's exhausted enough after having not slept for a few days that he does sway a moment before he catches his balance, when normally he would be perfectly stable.

He does catch himself though, and slowly quirks an eyebrow.]

Kirishima, wasn't it?

[ As the days had passed on, he'd - as suspected - gotten worse with his own condition which essentially meant breathing was a super-fun task when he felt like too much exertion would make him pass out. Plus the whole numbed mouth thing REALLY didn't help but he still wanted to check on Touka to see how she was doing.

So imagine it when he stops to try and catch his breath, which is easier said than done when out of nowhere, Touka literally seems to run into him. Huh. She would have seen him standing here, right?

Her eyes were sharper than his own and she would have snapped at him... but that... wasn't the case and he would have asked her what was wrong but he could hardly open his mouth without letting out a wheeze and that painful sensation of his lungs trying to close up on him which was not very pleasant in the very least. That wheezing being something she might end up hearing instead of any kind of words to even attempt to apologize. ]
puerilely: could be towards friends or enemies tbh (maybe it's since you're a basic bitch)

[ .. well, this is annoying.

For multiple reasons, really. Mostly since Shuu is already pissed off enough at his own condition and how it's so hard to taste anything - he doesn't even like coffee, but he thought maybe a hot drink would be enough to bring some feeling back into his mouth, especially since his throat starts to feel tighter with each day.

But now, instead of down his throat, the liquid is all over the ground, and he squints as he stares at her. ]

Yeah, you better.

[ His voice sounds a little oddly strained though. ]
