[ her hearing's been affected since the beginning of the event, so she speaks louder than usual when she responds to ryuko. of course, she looks lost and distraught, but she also has heavy bags under her eyes from not sleeping the past couple of days because... songs about death. always fun, especially when you can hear them while you try to sleep. ]
