[ . . . . It would be hard, wouldn't it. To be the only one left remembering. Tenka shuts his eyes at that, understanding a little bit better. What if CERES had wiped his mind clean of his time here? What if everything that he and Sousei had gone through.... what if he forgot all of it?

Even if Tenka came back, without his memories he'd still be leaving Sousei behind in a way.

So he shuffles again, restless as always, and moves to flop right on top of Sousei, arms around his neck in a loose hug.]

So I'm gonna need you to do me a favor.

Take the day off of work and sleep some more. It'll give me some time to check up on the kids, but I'm probably gonna take the day off work anyway too. Then you can have your moment.

But when your moment's done, I need my partner back because I don't know where I've been for three weeks and that's bound to be uneven ground for me too, okay?

[But.... Sousei's still here. And Tenka's here now.

And as long as both of those things are true, Tenka thinks they're gonna be okay.]
