The elevator moves quickly and surprisingly smoothly, no issues whatsoever with it, until it disappears down a strange, tube-like structure. Unfortunately for Jack, the opening closes right after the elevator slides through; he's left alone in the room above.
When they've hit a certain point, there's a cheerful ding and the elevator doors slide open, revealing a room.
The room is wide and large, and beneath their feet there is nothing but air and darkness through the holed flooring. And in the middle of the room, lighting it up, there are strange objects. For those sensitive to magic, energy or life forces of any sort, it's clear that that is what those objects are filled with. There's a steady hum, as if the machinery is still working in some way, but otherwise the room appears to be deserted -- at the moment.
Jack on the other hand will find himself to be alone in the room. The bottom of the room is just a hard metal flooring, though there is another door tucked in the corner. It does appear to be open. ]
