[ Strangely enough, the hall they step into, door firmly shut behind them, is totally wrecked. Pipes are broken, wires (still sparking) hang from the ceiling, and it is dark. Some of the flooring is rusting, and pieces will occasionally break and fall beneath their feet.
And otherwise, it's quiet. This floor seems unconnected to the previous; it's perfectly safe to walk on, aside from the ever-present threat of it falling to bits beneath them, of course.
It's a straight path -- there's a door, slightly ajar, a ways down the hall.
There also appears to be what used to be a hole blown in the wall to one side, a ways down the hall, but it has since been bricked up sloppily, as if done recently and in haste. ]
