It's different, but I do not dislike it.

I am used to the shrine life, but it would be nice to experience new things.

We try our best to clean it! Occasionally! It's somewhat difficult with so many things to clean around, though...

[It doesn't help that Kogitsunemaru only adds to the mass...ah, but now that they're here--Naki goes in and starts rifling through what probably looks like just another pile of random junk, eventually pulling out...a bear charm. Because there are in fact (very few) non-fox items hidden in this room! Like playing Eye Spy.

Well, there's plenty of those opportunities around here! You should go through the shopping district, there's so many stores with neat things.

On the other hand, there's also the entertainment district... but you might want to avoid it.

[ The worst thing would be if Ishikirimaru tried to purify every 'worker' in that area? Oh dear. ]

Oh! I know Kousetsu-san tends to a shrine... you could always visit it. He'd enjoy your brand of company, I'm sure!

Mm, I do, yes. It is not just me, since to cook for so many swords is difficult...! Luckily there are some other swords that have cookery skills, at least. Mitsutada-san and Horikawa-kun are quite helpful in the kitchen, though Mitsutada-san and I do often disagree on what to make...

[ It's the classic east vs. west problem, since Kasen will only cook Japanese food, whereas Mitsutada wants to cook literally everything else. ]

[ That gets Kasen to snort out a laugh at least, since with all the whining and talks of naps, he can't help himself. He feels more comfortable with Kashuu, so his smile tilts towards more wry, and he feels that he can tease at least a little. ]

[ Kasen clicks his tongue lightly, but the wags his ladle towards Namazo again. Team mom is appearing, and his tone is turning appropriately scolding. ]

[Of course, Kashuu looks appropriately horrified by that teasing threat. HOW VERY DARE, even in jest-!!]

Aha, slightly more manageable that way? But yes, I suppose to have many is still a good thing. [She can imagine some of the other countries who kept adopting, they would be foaming at the mouth seeing how many spirits here are like family.]

Oh! I have tried Mitsutada's food before, he is very good. Though what do you disagree on? [Although she has a feeling, considering how they are dressed, and how Mitsutada likes to be "cool and stylish."

This is also when she takes her chance to sip the broth--] This is delicious. It's so soothing.

[He thought the salt was going to cleanse it? He really has no idea wtf is going on and is totally asking Taroutachi about all this later.]

If we use the salt, isn't that enough?

[Salt can cleanse it...in fact she'd say leave it on the table just in case.]

I'm not entirely sure the spirits will follow this lore. There's many ways to use salt, and salt might not work on them either.

Kashuu is cool, that's a good beginning. [Jack approves of Kashuu - they have similar ideas when it comes to fun.] That's why you choose other activities, to avoid being bored. Like games, exploring, creating stuff, cooking...

[There's another idea mentioned, but it's lost on the munching of more ice-cream.]

Oka~y, if it's less work and stress for Haru-sama...

[ He's going to... quickly clean up the plastic packaging of what he snacked on from last night. Ima-litter, what Ima-litter? There is none here. ]

Actually, are you gonna fix up every room, Ishikiri-san? We have three compart- erm, apartments... You'll be very tired moving all that stuff on your own.

[ Would he even have permission to go through people's bedrooms? ]

I'm sorry... it just looked so delicious, I couldn't resist. [He looks appropriately bashful, peeking at Kasen through his bangs. With what appears to be a great effort, he stops to blow on the bowl--or what's left in it--stealing glances at Kasen like he's just waiting for Cooking Mama to turn away.]

[ The sad part is, he wouldn't... That's definitely a reason to wake Kashuu up even if he was a dingdong and couldn't wait to eat. ]

Well! I am sure you could find plenty to do.

[ He nods, though his smile stays wry and teasing. ]

Paint your nails, look after Yamato-kun, carve rocks... There's still plenty to do even when this is not our traditional Citadel.

[ He can Tell, and that's why Kasen's frown deeps just a little bit. It's not genuine displeasure, but it's just wondering sometimes how swords even manage to make it... Just day to day... ]

Patience, patience... It will be waiting for you and will be all the more delicious when it's cool. If you burn your tongue, you can't even taste it in the first place, can you?

[ The question gets him to pause thoughtfully as he thinks of how he might explain it, but the compliment that follows get Kasen to almost puff up proudly. He does take pride in his cooking, since even though he would say he's not the type of sword to do chores, cooking is different. It's art, so of course Kasen will gladly do that and try to excel. ]

Ah, I'm glad to hear it. Chanko-nabe is always one of my favorites to make for the Citadel, since it is hearty and makes quite a lot.

[ Which is more important, ultimately... Having enough food for the large and hungry swords is a genuine point of concern. ]

Though let's see... Mitsutada-san, well, he's a bit more modern? Or he has at least taken to modern Japan quite a bit more. I'm simply old-fashioned, which makes me a bit of a traditionalist, but— [ He nods ] I cook Japanese food, and Mitsutada-san likes to cook food from anywhere else. Western food is his favorite, though that's likely not hard to guess.

[At least that works out in both of their favors...
