I. lovelive it is real and dangerous...please save your loved ones,

[ Since arriving and getting situated, Mikazuki spends most of his time in the apartment living room, curled up on the couch and staring at his CereVice for hours. While he still has no idea how texting and emails and all of that technical mumbo jumbo works, he HAS figured out what app games are and after downloading a bunch onto his CereVice, that's all he's been invested in doing.

Now...Mikazuki has tried a bunch of different games but he finds that rhythm tap tap games are his favorite. There are only a handful of those out on the market but he's become absolutely FASCINATED by an idol girl game and if you've seen his bank account well, he's spent a lot of his hard earned credits on it too. But it was worth it for URs of best girl in his opinion. ]

Aaaah -- [ But on THIS DAY, Mikazuki has been in the living room going "aaah" for a few hours now and if anyone has tried to talk to him, he hasn't noticed. It's not until his phone is turned off that he actually pays attention and when he does, he turns towards the nearest person and instead of normally reaching out and asking for their help, his hand vice grips onto their leg and if they try to move away, they'll be dragging a jiji along the floor with them. ] Wait! Aaah, I can't FC this song...do you think you could help me? I keep getting really close but I always mess up right at the end and I really need the FC love gem so I can do a 11 scout again! I'm sooo close, it's not hard, I promise! You're just tapping at the screen along with the beat, haha, easy! [ He's already handing you his CereVice as he explains, there's no escaping now. ]

It's not hard, I promise! I'll be indebted to you if you at least try! [ It's not hard for him but this is what he expects YOU to do. ]

[ After deciding to get some fresh air after being cooped up inside all day playing on his CereVice, Mikazuki has been looking around the apartment for someone to help him... ... ...get dressed. It's no secret that he loves being dressed in elegant style of clothing, layers upon layers of silk fabrics and the like but he doesn't have the foggiest idea of how it's all supposed to go on him. And he can't very well leave the Swordhaus looking any less than his best! He has a reputation to uphold. He's at least dressed in his first layer, that much he can handle but it's the second and third layers that he can't, plus accessories.

Mikazuki is also not exactly embarrassed to be walking around in his bottom layer but it's starting to get cold and he'd much rather be dressed and outside. Like earlier, he ends up just grabbing whoever just so happen to be walking by, dragging them to his and Tsurumaru's shared room with urgency and locking them in to avoid anyone peeking in or well, an escape. He's all smiles when he turns towards you, clapping his hands together and only saying one thing. ] You don't mind helping an old man, do you?

[ Mikazuki kind of realizes that sounds weird so he'll try and follow it up but what he says doesn't help make this any less weird either. ] You see, since I work in the Pleasure District, I wanted to be prepared! Which is why I need your help. [ It's completely innocent but the innuendos go right over jiji's head. ]

III. save him

[ HE'S JUST GOING TO TRY and relax and take it easy now. Shenanigans have tired him out and as the day is winding down, he wants to take a bath! Simple and easy and hopefully nothing too destructive. At least it would have been if Mikazuki knew how to work modern style showers. He's been sitting bathside for about twenty minutes, turning the faucets on and off and trying to get the right temperature but all he can get is cold water? At one point he thought about asking someone for help but after earlier, he thinks that no, he'll do this on his own! Which ends up in disaster. ]

Oh, maybe if I...? [ Umpteenth time is the charm and so Mikazuki turns on the water and it's STILL COLD but he has the idea that he just has to wait for it to warm up and get hot. Unfortunately, he nodded off about halfway through and if you're outside the bathroom door then you'll feel your feet getting wet and frantic yelling from beyond the door. Mikazuki has, predictably, flooded the bathroom at least and part of the hallway. He's lifting up those poofy pants of his, trying not to get them wet to no avail but it doesn't seem to occur to him to turn OFF the water and this would all be fine if the door to the bathroom wasn't locked and someone could actually help him when he actually really needs it. ] Oh noooo --

_{[ The only reason that Zura is visiting the sword-house today is the fact that he can continue to spread anti-CERES propaganda, taking the liberty of pasting this campaign knock-off over various parts of this particular apartment. Zura probably discussed how evil CERES is with a few of them and quickly lost interest when he realized Mikazuki lived here. Of course he is going to find him and say hello!

Katsura never does once catch the drift that these are all sword spirits despite the conversations they may be having, the swords all around the apartment, etc, etc. It goes right over his wig head.

He figures he should at least pay his new friend a visit, but when he steps in the water in the hallway and gets his socks wet ( the absolute worse fate ), he frantically bursts through the door ( if there was a lock on it, there isn't anymore: this was urgent. ) ]}

MIKAZUKI-DONOOOOO!

Two squares, Mikazuki-dono! TWO SQUARES!!
_{[ you know, two squares is the healthy amount to wipe your ass and not have the toilet overflow.
He quickly realizes that isn't the cause of the problem, but for some reason feels no need to apologize or his mistake. ]}

[ The sudden shout of his name and following breaking down of the bathroom door causes jiji to jump in surprise at first, but he's thankfully less surprised (more confused) when he hears Katsura's... ... ...advice. ] Eh? T-Two squares -- Katsu -- [ He didn't even finish saying his name which for some unexplained reason, he likes to say.

Despite the sword apartment slowly flooding, Mikazuki takes the time to politely greet Katsura, bowing and saying how happy he is to see him outside of the games for once! He's smiling and laughing (apologizing for his wet socks) and he even tells Katsura to "please explain what Two Squares means later!" since well, the water is still pouring out into the hall. ] That's right! [ Mikazuki grabs Katsura by his shoulders with urgency. ]

Katsura-kun! ... ... ...Do you know how to get hot water for the shower? It keeps coming out cold? [ That's his biggest concern somehow. ]

_{[ Grandpa is certainly a chatty person. Not like Katsura minds. He doesn't seem too panicked at the miniature flood at hand now that he sees it's not the toilet that is causing the issue. ( ???? )

Everything Mikazuki says; Zura just tips his head with a small 'yes' in agreement.
Then, his shoulders are gripped. He doesn't mind this either, even if he is typically pretty fussy with who is allowed in his space. Great job, jiji! You've already broken through his bubble.

Katsura lowers his head and cups his chin. ]}

... You say it's only giving you cold water? _{[ this is a hard one..... ]}
Have you considered boiling the water first?

[ Ah yes.

He's glad that Katsura doesn't mind how touchy Mikazuki can get since it's something he does a lot, maybe it's a habit? Who can say! What Mikazuki CAN say is...that he's sorely confused. He heard that the hot water is supposed to come naturally but maybe it's not? Oh these modern times...well, Katsura seems more knowledgeable than jiji so he'll try anything once. ] Boiling it? Then I would fill the tub with buckets of boiled water? Ah, actually that's a little familiar.

[ But how should he go about it now? Mikazuki pardons himself and hops up on the bathroom counter to avoid getting his pants any more wet than they already are. He invites Katsura to do the same, of course. They shouldn't be ruining their clothes in his opinion. Not only that but as a sword, he has his concerns about being in the water for too long. ] Human bodies prune but a sword can easily rust. [ He's talking to himself but feel free to interpret that however you like, Katsura. ]

Ah. [ Hand to chin, Mikazuki looks at the overflowing bathtub and the still running water for a long second. It's quiet except for the standard bathroom noises (whatever those are) before Mikazuki finally seems to get his mind on the right track. ] Should we turn the water off?

Then don't bring your sword into the bath tub, Mikazuki-dono.
I have made the same mistake when visiting the onsen in Kyoto. I know you are wary of exposing your asscheeks to strangers as am I, but carrying your sword into the water can damage it.

[ Mikazuki is > < this close to just telling Katsura that it's impossible for him Not to bring his sword into water since he is one but...perhaps another time. He's more interested in Katsura's story, smiling and nodding when appropriate before turning towards the overflowing tub. Mikazuki allows Katsura room to turn off the water (finally) and sighs a little in relief after it's all over.

[ He's careful about bunching up his lower garments so they don't get wet but since his socks are already lost, he'll just hop and walk through the wet floor but it's a little slippery so Jiji will be considerate as always and offer his hand to Katsura. ] Only if you wish to, Katsura-kun though I do not doubt you're capable of taking care not to fall.

[ usually, tsurumaru can worm his way out of mikazuki's grasp. some twisting here, some twisting there, and nine times out of ten, he's free. today is the one time when he's not free. no matter how hard he tries, tsurumaru can't wiggle out of that insistent grasp. so he decides to stick around, wondering what it is that's driven mikazuki to this state, looking at the CereVice that he's handed, listening to just enough of the explanation to understand the situation.

ah, yes........ love live school idol festival.

it's not as if he's particularly busy today, and with little else to do... he takes a seat on the couch, sitting in LOVE LIVE TAPPING FORMATION. the CereVice is placed on a nearby cushion as he tugs his gloves off, setting them next to him before picking the device back up again. ]

So... you're saying that I just have to tap all of these buttons in rhythm, when they line up with these other circles of your idols, right? Sounds easy enough. [ oh no... not easy at all. ]

[ Ah yes, the rhythm tap tap game of the youth's generation. Mikazuki is at least "hip" with the kids since he's started playing this. He's glad that Tsuru has agreed to help him! He knows he can always count on his cute Tsuru to be there for him in times of need. And not being able to FC a song on LLSIF is a time of need. Fellow Love Livers will understand the full combo love gem is important.

He's a little too excited, leaning in to watch Tsuru over his shoulder but before he begins...of course, the catch. That jiji set himself up for but anyway, ] Hmm, well that depends.

[ Mikazuki is going to so casually place a hand on his chin and eye Tsurumaru with his special eyes. ] What do you want, Tsuru-kun?

[ of course, while tsurumaru checks into his Love Live app more periodically, about daily for the login bonuses, as well as to deplete his lp bar once, his attention span isn't the greatest, meaning that while he can play the expert songs with some proficiency... he's tired.

mikazuki is just close enough for tsurumaru to feel as if he isn't breathing down his back, because these full combos take a lot of concentration!! when the other asks, he looks back at mikazuki with his own set of special eyes, entirely determined that mikazuki would be able to do this one thing for him. ]

Scout me a UR of my favorite idol.

[ although he has lots of SRs of his favorite, fortune-loving third years, a UR escapes him. where is christmas angel? mermaid? but scouting is just a game of luck — a game which tsurumaru's never been good at, so he doesn't expect mikazuki to say he's capable of such a feat.

still, he wants to hear what kind of answer that mikazuki would give him. ]

[ Mikazuki thinks on it for a moment, wondering how long that might take since scouting URs is completely luck based and while Mikazuki is a national treasure, that doesn't mean his luck is better than anyone else's. He only has a handful of URs himself and they're mostly ones he drew randomly and didn't actually TRY for but that's how Love Live can be sometimes.

BUT, since this is for Tsurumaru, he doesn't see why he can't at least try to get him a UR of his best girl. ]

I do have credits saved up from work...haha, since it's my Tsuru-kun then I'll definitely do it for you.

[ Which means he's going to try until he gets Tsuru the UR he wants which may or may not leave jiji bankrupt but he likes to spoil Tsuru...so there's no helping it. Jiji claps his hands together once and smiles faintly, asking Tsuru who his favorite girl is and what UR of her he wants specifically. ] I'll do my best to get the one you want. Ah, remind me to put my card information on your CereVice too, so I can directly buy gems from my savings to your CereVice.

[ he went into this thinking he was just going to get mikazuki one love gem through getting a full combo on this particularly difficult EX song, but here mikazuki is, spending what definitely seems to be well over fifty love gems for tsurumaru's sake. this is why mikazuki is his favorite uncle!!!!

and naturally, tsurumaru beams at mikazuki's offer, instantly naming off his favorite idol and favorite card. ]

Christmas Angel, Nozomi's UR!! [ although it's not technically called christmas angel, it's a nozomi UR that was released during christmas, and that identifying factor alone makes it difficult to mix up with any other card.

now he's too excited, how is he going to play love live like this? but with the image of his BEST GIRL'S UR pictured in his mind as his endgoal, tsurumaru holds mikazuki's cerevice between his hands, fingers trying not to shake as they tap away at the screen.

and three minutes later, he's finished!! 714 perfects, 16 greats, 0 of anything else. as the purple "FULL COMBO" symbol flashes across the screen, he thinks: that's not bad, it could be better...

BUT, LIKE THE CHILD HE IS, HE INSTANTLY PLOPS HIS OWN CEREVICE INTO MIKAZUKI'S HANDS before even returning mikazuki's device to him, setting that somewhere on mikazuki's lap instead. that's not tsuru's priority right now, he's here to win? ]

[She actually walked through the door seconds before he caught someone to love live for him, which is why she managed to dodge all the way back out of the apartment and told herself she'll come back later. THERE ARE JUST SOME GAMES ONE SHOULD NOT ATTEMPT WHILE TIRED AS ALL HELL.

Just after deciding to come back though, she found that the coast is clear and she can find others to ask how their day has been. Until it loos like she's been accosted and dragged into a room.]

[Ah, it's Mikazuki, and he has--

T-the pleasure district?! Y-you wish to be prepared? [He needs easy access clothes?! N-NO DON'T GET TOO AHEAD OF YOURSELF, what if he just works in the neater places, like the bars (less seedy), or...well less seedier places, they certainly exist...]

Yes, you see...I haven't been there too much. Only a few times for work since arriving here but I still feel...inadequate. [ If only he'd say WHERE he worked and WHAT he did but no, it doesn't even cross his mind. What he does end up doing is first: he goes over to his closet, his side is decorated with blues and whites and golds while Tsurumaru's is mostly white -- as is his aesthetic. He fumbles around for a little while before he picks up his standard silk kimono and all its ties and golden accessories. Finally, Mikazuki will oh, so casually hand the garments and baubles over to Vietnam then stand with his arms spread out.

For a bit of emphasis to his urgent situation, he tries to give his best pleading look on his elegant face towards Vietnam. ] Please do me this favor, young miss! I'd hate to disappoint my customers it would simply be...unbefitting of me!

I-Inadequate...

[Details would be helpful now, but he's in such a mess that she probably wouldn't be getting it any time soon. Instead, she's assuming that he's in a very suspicious job, something that requires him to be well dressed so that he would be able to please his customers. Get it.]

I'm sure that you will never be inadequate, or a disappointment.

[Has he even looked in am mirror? No she is sure he knows he's handsome. AND GOD WHY DOES HE KEEP CALLING HER YOUNG MISS she gets weak. So much for strong badass, sometimes she's a pushover to people she approves of. Even with his...deviant job.

She takes his clothes, holding it firmly to her, takes a deep breath.] I will help you, if it is so important to you...

[A short pause as she looks at his clothes before turning her stern gaze onto him.]

[ He appreciates her consoling and smiles a bit in response, and ends up smiling brighter when she agrees to help him. Mikazuki bows his head in gratitude and thanks Vietnam for her help but pauses mid-bow when she offers protection? Well he can't see how that's immediately strange or anything since he was protected when he was put on display back before he ever came to Cerealia. So he's kind of assuming she wants to do something like that for him? ]

Protect me...aha, well if you wish it then I can hardly deny it. [ In other words, he doesn't think he has a choice in it but he likewise appreciates her offer and would accept it regardless! He's standing up straight again after, dusting himself off and ready to hold his arms out so she can begin but he suddenly remembers -- ]

My apologies! I just realized..we never introduced each other did we? Please call me Mikazuki Munechika, young miss. I'll be in your care from now on.

[Mikazuki, your assumptions are going to get them both into trouble. Which isn't good for her blood pressure, but is definitely magnificent for everyone around them to witness. She'll accept quickly that he is fine with her protecting him. Now the deviants won't get to him.]

As for guiding you...well, I'm inexperienced with this myself but I will do my best. [ Though he's not sure how much help he will be, he at least kind of(?) knows how everything is supposed to look at the end so he can probably guess and help tuck and tie here and there! But for now, he will let her begin where she thinks is best.

He at least knows where and how to stand, with arms apart so the fabrics can be easily draped over him. Mikazuki is obviously very practiced at playing a dress up doll since he's been doing this for thousands of years and it helps that there has always been someone or another to dress him. He is happy that such seems to be the case even in Cerealia. Part of him was just slightly worried he wouldn't be able to do this anymore! ]

No, thank you for allowing me to follow. [After all, he could've protested and made this all very difficult (or at least, he could've saved them from impending doom, but alas.)

She quickly waves her hand, after shuffling the fabric so that it settles nicely in her arms.]

You know how it looks on top of you, so you can at least correct me. Visually, it may come to you. [If he is dressed like this constantly, she hopes. It should come to him, and if she puts something out of place, he could feel uncomfortable. Those are all the cues she needs.

That being said, she wonders if he's going to be running late if she doesn't dress him quick enough. No point thinking about it now, it must be done either way.

She starts by putting layers on the top half of him. Vietnam noticed there were small ties on each fold, so she makes note that she must tie them in order. Firstly though, she needs to slip the sleeves through his arms (after a bit of tip toeing and circling him) and making sure all the fabrics are even and smooth before she fastens the ties. There was something else she noticed: these fabrics could be pretty heavy.]

[Well. Hello.

Souji doesn't appear to mind too much as he's dragged into someone's room, partly because shenanigans is pretty par for the course in Swordhaus, and partly because the same could be said about the Shinsengumi headquarters. Mind, back there, no one would dare to drag Souji along and say something that sounded so very much like a proposition, on the off chance that Hijikata might hear it.

Still, he smiles pleasantly, only looking puzzled and mildly flustered, though regrettably the very faint blush on his cheeks stands out all the more considering how pale he is.]

Ah, yes? I work in the Pleasure District as well - or at least, I used to the last time I was here. [He sighs.] It'll take rather a lot of make-up until I look pretty enough for that again, I suppose. [A brief pause, and he lets out an embarrassed little laugh.] I'm sorry - what can I help you with?

[ It's a very fortunate thing Hijikata is not around in this case! Mikazuki is free to be as suggestive as he can be not that he means to though he can be flirty when he wants to. He's smiling a little at the flustered look Souji has since he's a terrible tease but he tries to keep focus on his situation. He's already straightening out his blue silk kimono layer, careful of wrinkles before holding it up towards his own body, a clearly confused expression on his beautiful features. He's about to hand the cloth over to his guest but halts just shortly of actually doing so, listening to his confession. ]

Are you saying you won't work there again? [ That's too disappointing for Mikazuki and he momentarily forgets his trials in favor of paying Souji the attention he deserves. He sighs a little himself, reaching over and touching a hand just barely to the Shinsengumi's cheek. ] It's a shame but I do hope you'd reconsider or at least... [ There's a little laugh that sounds as he pulls his hands back and then bows his head politely. ] Please do come visit me at the teahouse sometime.

-- Though, I can show you the way now and even serve you if you like but... [ Clears throat. ] I do need help getting dressed beforehand, if you please.

[To be honest, Souji can often come off as rather flirtatious without intending to in turn, and seems to have a someone tenuous grasp on what kind of behavior is too intimate. As demonstrated by how any casual bystander would probably assume that he and Kashuu are in the kind of relationship none of them would ever actually consider, for different reasons.

He does however light up a bit with enthusiasm now that the situation is made a bit more clear to him, although he's still lightly flushed and a bit taken aback. Being confined to a bathroom with a pretty man who wants you to help him with his clothes makes a lot more sense in this sort of context, and Souji is innocent enough in this way to simply not question it beyond that.]

Ah, well, I was rather planning on going back to work there in a while - I just need to get a bit healthier, or I'm sure people will worry.

[Not to mention, he is rather aware of how unattractive the customers will find him habitually hacking up his lungs and bleeding all over his lovely kimono. So it's probably best to wait for his medicines to take effect for a while.]

But the place I worked at was a tea house as well, so I'm used to helping people get dressed! I'll gladly offer any assistance I can.

Ah? Are you sick then? [ He figured that Souji was a little unwell but so much so that he can't work? It's a little worrying for Mikazuki and he'll make a mental note of it so he treats Souji with gentle and loving care.

Which he does now by smiling and thanking Souji for his help with this. Mikazuki admits that as much as he adores the extravagant clothes he wears, they are a little too complex for him to put on himself. That and he likes the attention but you can probably blame a few people for enabling him with this. ]

So you worked at a teahouse...in the pleasure district? [ It seems to dawn on him now that this information means Souji is his senior, or senpai. Mikazuki's smile softens at the prospect and he gingerly takes the other man's hands in his own, giving them the gentlest of squeezes. ] How wonderful! I've never had a senior before...ah, what's it like, I wonder?

[ Quickly remembering his manners a second later, Mikazuki pulls back and formally bows towards Souji with all the excitement displayed clearly on his elegant features. ] I'll be in your care then, Senpai. [ Ok, he can't RESIST calling someone that. ]

Rather persistently, I'm afraid. But I'm getting better now!

[Yes, it's just a stubborn case of tuberculosis, nothing to be worried about! At least if his tone is anything to judge by. Look, he already has Haru, Kashuu and Yamato worrying about him, and there is absolutely no fooling them, so please let him pretend that he's not feeling all that bad for a moment.

He certainly looks a bit flustered as his hands are grasped in such a kindly manner, and even more so when Mikazuki actually bows to him. Even so he also laughs brightly and warmly, since the other man apparently is childishly enthusiastic about the prospect, as if it's a new and fascinating thing, leading Souji to suspect that this might be one of the older and more venerable swords. It's rather hard not to be utterly charmed by such an endearing approach.]

Then I shall do my very best to be a good example to my kouhai and make him truly enchanting - though most of that job appears to be done in advance.

[Look, Souji can play this charmer game too. He beams a bit playfully at Mikazuki, taking the rich fabric of the blue kimono in slender hands, fully prepared to give aid in any way he can.]

Oh! And since we should probably be properly introduced before I help you dress - anything else sounds a bit scandalous - I'm Okita Souji. It's a pleasure to help you out.

[ Okita? Did he just say Okita Souji? -- Mikazuki presses a hand to his chin and feels like he already knows the other man simply by having associated with Yamato but it may not be the best decision to bring him up now. Perhaps later if it comes up or something...but for now, Mikazuki will focus on introducing himself as well by first formally bowing his upper body then giving his name. ] Mikazuki Munechika, please take care of me.

And...you are far too kind Okita-senpai! Haha, though I am said to be the most beautiful, I will admit when it comes to working at a teahouse... [ Vague hand motions here since jiji isn't sure what he's supposed to be doing half the time but he somehow manages to be pretty popular in the teahouse despite that. ] well I'm not certain how they want me to "entertain".

[ He hopes that Okita will fill him in on this! For the most part, Mikazuki explains to Okita (as he stands still and prepares himself to be dressed) that he usually ends up just chatting with the customers about this or that and that's all that they seem to need from him. Which is just fine with him and he makes pretty good tips too! But he does feel as if there is something more he should be doing? Unless entertaining is really just happily talking? He supposes that Okita must know better than he does though and as his kouhai, he will listen intently to any advice he has. ]
