[ napping. it's good that naki is comfortable enough in the apartments to be without smallest fox. he talks more now than he used to, too.

he reaches up, then, pushing the hair gently away from naki's brow, pale eyes warming fondly. ]

How's work? You keep pretty busy..

[it's true he talks more these days...though not even haruji can get more than the shortest of sentences out of him, just yet.

naki stills and closes his eyes as his master's hand reaches his brow, pausing once again (both at the new question, and the fact he likes haru's touch). without smallest fox to speak for him, he has to think of the answers himself, so it takes a moment before he hesitantly opens his mouth again.]

it's....... [ah, what words is he supposed to use, ummmm] ...interesting.

[despite the period it almost sounds like question.]

[ ah.. naki likes to be touched like this, despite his quiet. haru sometimes forgets, largely because the white-haired spirit is often so silent. hesitating only another moment, his hand slides down to the spirit's nape, fingers curling loosely in the ends of his hair, knuckles gently digging into his scalp in a kind of massage. ]

'Interesting'? You sound like you aren't really sure about that.

[ he probably isn't, really. he'd been a display sword for most, if not all, of his existence-- at least, before haru. there's probably a lot about the world--particularly this one--that's still a little alarming for him. ]

[yaayaa]

[despite his quiet, he really enjoys company...but people don't always stay unless you talk to them. it's a dilemma. and it's even harder to talk with those fingers in his hair...naki leans into the touch, enjoying the feeling as he tries to get his thoughts in order.]

Everything's new.....[so sometimes it's] Confusing.

[he opens his eyes slightly to look down at his lap, lacing and unlacing his fingers together.] ...I like it, though.
