[Wait, what? Dotanuki stares at the uchigatana for a second, then sighs, running a hand over his face. He just wanted to watch TV and eat ice cream, Yamato. Why have you ruined this for him.]

Okay, no, that guy wasn't real and I didn't do anything to him.

How can you say he isn't real, our beings are meant to protect. How long did you know about him being trapped there. Explain yourself.

[Oh, is he really doing that? Is he really threatening him? Dotanuki doesn't have his vessel with him, but his gaze changes the instant Yamato's hand touches the hilt. His eyes narrow, the yellow getting brighter.]

If you draw that, you better be ready to fight me for real. I don't hold back even if it's all a misunderstandin'.

[He'll stab him with his ice cream stick if he has to.]

I didn't put him in there. He's an actor, like in a play, but in a box.

[ Scanning the other spirit before him, Yamato is part of the Shinsengumi and fighting a person without a weapon is something they don't do. He does look a little sad once he realizes that and quickly his attitude shifts to an oblivious air as he tilts his head just a little confused. ]

We can fight later, you don't have yourself with you. [ DISAPPOINTING!!! Anyway, he wonders what he's talking about as he looks towards the TV. ] An actor.. do you all feed him for his humorous endeavors. He looked hurt so why..

[Ugh, gods, this is why he sometimes hates dealing with you younger swords. You're all crazy and shiz!!! Even if Yamatonokami isn't that much younger. He's taken on traits of a long-running master, which is something Dotanuki never really had. He sighs and the tension runs from his body, even if his face remains just as stern as before.]

Whatever.

[He sticks the ice cream in his mouth and goes over to the television, noting just how 100% dead the thing is.]

If he was actually in there, Yamatonokami, you'd be the one responsible for killing him. But he's not. This thing uses a wire [He picks up the cable connection] to show us images from far away. Just like in a play, it's all fake.

[Why is Donut the one explaining all of this...he hates technology....]
