[The cavalry arrives in the form of Edgeworth. He isn't wearing his cravat (no, he stowed it into a jacket pocket), and the rest of his suit is riddled with little tears and grime. When he finds Phoenix, he sidles up close to him, behind the same boulder, and holds up a finger to his lips. His other hand is holding his sword.

Despite motioning for Phoenix to keep quiet, it is Edgeworth who speaks up in barely a whisper:]
