OTA

Phase I
[When Keimi woke up this morning, she just knew today was going to be strange. Mostly because when she woke up, she was careening towards the ground at high speeds.

One blood-curdling scream later, and our mermaid heroine finds her fall stopped by the treetop canopy. Well, "stopped" was more like "smacked into a large tree branch and then wrapped up in vines". She's not too far off the ground, really; only a few feet. She does seem to be spinning a lot, though. Once she gets over the sudden nausea caused by nearly plummeting to your death, Keimi will begin to call out for help, if her earlier screams didn't get anyone's attention previously.]

I-is anyone else around? Anybody...? Help!

Phase III
[Having done her best to avoid the monsters of the previous day, Keimi can be found curiously exploring the village. She floats about on a giant bubble keeping her just barely off the ground.

She does her best not to touch anything, out of respect for whoever might have lived there, but she can't help but be curious at the sight of nature reclaiming its land. She may take a sketch pad from her backpack and doodle some of the vine-covered houses.]

Phase IV
[On this day, Keimi realized that swimming was a bad idea.

She just wanted to take a little dip to wet her drying skin. Being a mermaid, being out of water for too long can be hazardous to one's complexion. Life, too, but... priorities.

Anyone in the nearby area may hear the panicked scream of a green and pink flash as she rips across the river at full speed, a gang of fish creatures in pursuit.]

Bonus Time
[Those little jittery bugs sure are annoying, huh? Keimi has retreated inside one of her bubbles to keep the things out. Red marks on her ears and her messy hair confirms she's already let them close once, and she's not too keen on the idea of letting them do that again.

She's filled her bubble with a bit of water from the river to get more comfortable, but she's not particularly mobile like this. Sure, she could stick her tail out and balance her way around if she wanted to, but she doesn't want to give those things a place to land on her.]
