Honestly, being in that kind of situation doesn't even exist in his world - money only vaguely exists as a concept on the whole. Money is mostly stuff for buying candy with, unless he can bully Hijikata into doing it for him.

He lets out a weak laugh, and obediently whips the creatures off his sword with a swift movement, wiping it off on his sleeve before sheathing it once again. He doesn't hesitate before leaning heavily on Kashuu once help is offered, letting him take most of his weight. He's one of very few people Souji would accept help from so readily, simply because Kashuu used to be his sword, and a warrior relying on his sword is not so strange in his mind.
