We would need more than just a few days here to find out. If we can find some sign of a massive movement, of a migration, we can at least attempt to follow their actions to figure out if they were a migrating people. These walls are far to sturdy to be indicative of a nomadic group. However, this is a jungle, it would not be unheard of to have more than one village to move between for safety purposes, food and other resources, or something we aren't even sure of on a yearly basis.

But if it were a mass extinction, there would be far more evidence of that, and the whole village feels like... they were on the run.

It's very possible this was CERES' test group but technology is next to non-existent.

There are too many theories and until I can examine things better, I cannot narrow them down.
