...We're back to this? I thought we'd gotten past it already.
[yuri sounds utterly annoyed at this being the first thing he has to hear waking up today. yesterday? sure. yesterday is when he'd expected to get this lecture. he'd already denied himself sleep and spent enough of the day mulling over what had happened. shouldn't this lecture have happened twenty-four hours ago, hangover or not?]
I wasn't planning for two or three to turn into... however many we ended up having. [he retorts with a sigh. that's the honest truth. he'd wanted flynn to have a little fun and loosen up, not drink himself into bad decisions and a terrible hangover. yuri doesn't really feel good about that part either. he just wants to be over this whole ordeal, he just wants to put it behind them.
but despite the fact that they're having an argument before yuri's even awake enough to properly explain anything, he's a bit grateful for the fact that flynn comes over to help with his hair. it's bad; it's a mess, worse so than it is on most mornings. maybe it's the jungle humidity—even if he doesn't feel it in his breathing thanks to his air affinity, his hair doesn't seem to be exempt. he'll be taking the time to run through the easier parts to reach; his bangs and other front portions, primarily.]
You really think my plan was to get you blackout drunk? Geez, the Flynn I grew up with could throw back a couple and still be sensible. You know, have fun once in a while and let go for a couple of hours? [the more he thinks about flynn's lecturing, the more it annoys him. yes, some things got out of control. but he'd been trying to take responsibility this whole time and felt bad about how out of control it got. is that really worthy of being scolded like he's a child?
he's already a criminal, he doesn't need to be treated like a kid bullying other kids on the playground, too.]
