[it's not like yuri isn't aware that some of this anger is being misplaced—and he also knows that this is very explicitly flynn doing that thing he does, where he plays the righteous knight who can do no wrong while yuri is the criminal, the bad guy, and the enabler.

oh, yeah. the last time this happened, he wound up having to fight alexei at zaude and then promptly got stabbed by flynn's second and command. cool fuckin' story, right?
except that it's not, and the knowing that all this is happening because flynn doesn't want to admit any part in his share of the blame (when yuri has had no problem thus far admitting that he never meant for things to be that bad) just really gets under yuri's skin. there aren't many people who can do that, especially not at this level, but flynn is doing it. his jaw clenches, head tilting to the side from the way flynn's voice is loudly hitting his ear drums right now. even repede's ears seem to move from how loud it is—and really, the pooch wants nothing to do with this argument, so he'll be getting up to go snoop around and mark his territory on the area they're currently occupying.
yuri, on the other hand, is not going to take this sitting down. figuratively speaking, of course, since he's not about to physically stand while his hair is being detangled.]
