[To say Shinjiro didn't currently feel awkward as shit would be a lie.
Seated in the glamorous living room of Mitsuru's apartment - something out of a home decor magazine as opposed to the barely held together room he's temporarily staying in - with his legs and arms tucked carefully close to his body, Shinjiro feels a bit like an outsider. He's happy to see Mitsuru again of course, and glad she seems to be healthy and in good spirits, but after the disaster that'd been his last mission with SEES he hadn't exactly done much to bridge the quickly widening gap between him and the remaining two members of SEES.
He isn't sure where he stands with her anymore, even if she had allowed his return back onto the (now much larger) team, and his discomfort's enhanced by the fact that they're not even in Iwatodai anymore but in some foreign place with its foreign customs.
But! Some customs never change. Namely, the one that says you should probably be polite when in someone else's house.]
