[fear of heights isn't really something yuri would have once put on his list of things to be bothered by. and really, being up in high places doesn't generally bother him. but when considering that one of his last memories before being pulled from his world had involved getting injured and then falling from a high altitude? jumping a gap that seems to have nothing but a deep abyss beneath it isn't exactly to yuri's liking here.]

[listen, cloudman!! he doesn't have to take orders from you!? okay, so maybe he does. at least yuri looks more thoroughly unamused than actually fearful of what may happen. he's confident enough in his own ability to get across, but it just seems to mock him. for a moment, his attention turns slightly to look at the dog by his side—what he says next is actually directed at repede, but nobody just talks to their dogs, right? it's easy enough to assume he's just voicing his thoughts aloud to whoever is nearby. but no, it's for the dog.] I wonder if he forgot that we're not all clouds like he is.

[fighting the griffins? that's something yuri can handle. he's not infallible, so he does take hits and get knocked back his fair share—especially because he's fighting with a somewhat flimsy, makeshift wooden sword and his fists. but he has repede at his side, carrying out artes at full strength with his dagger; the dog fights well. it's not something he can do alone though, not without his proper weapons and sub-weapons. so if anyone wants a man and his dog aiding them in taking down a griffin, yuri will be there. possibly a little beat up and bloodied, but that doesn't seem to stop him.]

Kinda seems out of place to me. [by which he means that it's obviously suspicious. he arches a brow—ceres related? it seems like it could be possible, but he's the furthest from knowledgable about this kind of technology. yuri's looking to defer to someone else on this. possibly while sitting his ass on the floor, trying to catch his breath and (like a total genius) using his shirt to try and clean up a fairly deep scratch in his arm from a talon nick. maybe that's less of a nick and more of a wound, but he doesn't have time to let that slow him down.]
