[Even though he was miserably cold and didn't really know any of the people he was traveling with, Gintoki doesn't hesitate to spring into action when the group is threatened. Even though he doesn't have any special abilities, it's impressive how good he is with a wooden sword - how quick, how strong, how powerful.
Unfortunately, he's not as careful as he should be on a precarious mountainside. Maybe it's because he has to keep looking up at the griffons to attack, but he somehow loses track of where his feet are. After one especially hard blow to a griffon, one that has the animal dropping several feet in the air, he takes a step back from the recoil, only to slip right off the mountain-side. The look of focus on his face turns to one of panic as he starts to fall -- and he's pretty sure none of those winged monsters are going to catch him, either. This was stupid. That was really stupid! He didn't want to fall off the mountain today! Actually never! Never was a good time to fall off a damn stupid friggin mountain!!
Hopefully the loud curse he gives will alert someone to grab him before he gets a long lesson in how bad human are at flying.]
[phase any]
[In general, Gintoki is going to be irritable and grumpy, mostly because of the cold. Feel free to approach him though. Granted, when they get to the top he'll be collecting some blankets and trying to warm up as much as he can, though he's mildly curious about the table and will listen to the conversations around him, he'll mostly be caring about getting warm.]
