Dotanuki scrambles, but his vessel slips off the edge and he has to roll after it to catch it before it falls completely. Now with one hand gripping the cliff and his other clinging to his sword, he's stuck.]

phase ii [ He doesn't understand why he feels compelled to come here, but now that he's arrived at this giant dark hole into the earth? He really doesn't want to go in. It's unusual to see Dotauki hesitating about doing anything, but he's definitely hanging out at the entrance to the tunnel, dragging his feet about going in. He stares into the dimly lit dark, ignoring the crystals for now and focusing on how damp it is down there. He speaks to no one in particular, although he knows there are other people around.]
Do they really expect us to go in here?
phase iii [ The trees whisper, but he doesn't want to listen. "Where is your family?" they ask, and all he can think of is how his "family" doesn't exist anymore. He doesn't have brothers like the other swords, but all the other versions of him, the few remaining in storage are all gone now that the world is dead. They failed, and now all that remains are his allies from the Citadel and Haru. Haru, who is not here. Haru, who he has been looking for endlessly since coming to this part of the jungle. His master that he cannot find.
