[ Buttons are being pressed, and as everyone expected, terrible things are going to happen. The drill does damage to the wall, but not very much; it seems to be reinforced somehow. However, drilling does set off an alarm; there's a flashing red light that is set off, along with a robotic voice: ]

Attempted specimen breach detected. Calling back-up.

[ Hinata's buttons, on the other hand, have started whatever that claw is for. Celty is correct in that it's large enough to pick up a person, because that's what it's going to do; it picks her up, restraining her tightly. She won't be able to escape it; it's intended to hold onto the strange creatures that can be found on Tellus, and has strange properties along those lines. And, as it's used for that purpose exactly, the next thing that appears is a robotic arm with a syringe full of some mysterious, clear liquid. ]

Beginning test: specimen number S62312.

[And then Celty's going to get an injection of that syringe to her arm. At the moment, it will have no effect -- and then she is dropped down a trap door.

Luckily for her, one of the previous raid groups made a mess of the cages she was supposed to be dropped into! So she's free to walk right out of the compound; she won't be able to open any doors to rejoin the group. A few hours later, the injection will start to take effect. She will find that she has intense dizziness and vertigo for 3 IC days, during which she will have vivid nightmares of the jungle surrounding Tellus, and the natives. They will be fragmented. When she is awake, she will see everyone as Izaya for 24 IC hours.

That all happens in the space of a few moments, but following this, all of the doors will unlock; it seems that was a security measure in place to make sure the monsters can't escape. ]
