[So, here's someone new! He's drawn out by his curiosity today since the treats she's setting up definitely look good, so of course he finds his way over sooner or later, only to be a little caught off guard when he's greeted with her phone. Though speaking had been his first impulse, before he gets a word out the thought strikes him, and like the impulse to whisper back when someone whispers to you, he starts to (very slowly, in a way that shows he's still getting used to it) type a message into his phone, showing that to her instead.

If that's fine. Yes, please!

[Yes... he has solved the Mystery. He wears a smile while he shows it back to her too, though after a moment he seems as though he's remembered something and takes a pause to continue typing something else onto his screen, showing her the complete message once he's done.]

They look very good.!

[ oh no, he responded back with text. there's a moment where she pauses a little longer than she would just to read his message, caught off guard by his gesture. no one has ever bothered to speak to her in the same way and while she never expected anyone to, it's still sweet of him to try.

ugh, he looks so pleased, too. celty hands him one of the plates of castella, cookies and shortbread, typing another message to show him. ]

[Despite the pause, the cute face she uses in her next text definitely brightens his expression, offering up a friendly grin while he proceeds to take his time picking which sweet to try first. When he finally decides on the cookie, even on just the first bite he seems not to regret it. Slowly but surely as he nibbles through, he taps at his screen before turning it to show her.]

Aah, they really are good!

[And once that's been typed, the cookie is all but finished. Next up: he reaches to sample a piece of the shortbread]
