[Open] You'll wake up on Easter mornin' and you'll know that he was there...
Who: Everyone! This is a mingle log, tag around and cr the hell out of it
When: around ic 4/24
Where: The Park (and your character's business place if they want to offer it!)
What: Easter celebrations and occasional pranks by your local Spirit of Winter
Rating/Warning: Not for now, let me know if something should be added.
Notes: Here is the ooc post for any questions, requests or plotting needs. If you want Jack to prank your character, let me know, April's fools is still on.
[Jack loves the holidays, especially after he got to befriend the Guardians. Halloween is his favorite, he has to admit, and April's Fools is super fun. Christmas is winter... but Easter. Easter has gained a new meaning after what happened, and Jack feels he has to make up for it. So this shows up in the network the day before the celebration.
Yes, it is a text. He doesn't want his feelings about the subject to show on camera.]
aliens here don't really care about otherworldly holiday marketing huh
it's april so we should be having Easter
Easter is... new beginnings. New life.
Easter is about hope.
...and boiled eggs and chocolate but i guess that's not sappy enough for the kangaroo
alright tomorrow morning we do painting
egg hunt in the afternoon
don't get in the kids' way and you can play too
[Pretty straightforward, right? What you read it's what you get. Next day, the park will be taken over by Jack and the kids. And he meant the last part, so better watch out! Not making any kid cry or there will be one angered Guardian.
In the morning, everyone takes out their colors to work on the eggs, both classic food coloring and same alien stuff that Jack isn't sure what it is but hey, he'll take it. He'll also take the not so common eggs - those violet ones? Definitely not from a chicken. Not all of them are boiled, and that's because he is saving some raw ones in the spirit of April's Fools. Children are busy painting, and Jack will keep an eye on them to keep them safe...
But adults? Yeah, watch out, because adults may be the victims of some accidents, like raw eggs on their hair or balloons filled with paint exploding in their surroundings. Oops. He doesn't go full annoying mode, as he wants this to be success to make up to Bunny, but still. A joke here and there won't hurt anyone, right?
There are lots of themes on the egg drawings - Jack tried to teach them the traditions the best he could, so spring is still the main attraction, but each person is free to add their own thing to the mix. Let your imagination run wild! Who says a kraken doesn't belong on an Easter egg, huh?
There's a break for lunch, and while everyone leaves to have some food, Jack hides the eggs and brings out the baskets, which have a chocolate bunny or chicken waiting inside. Once again, children are looked after while they search, their Guardian hovering above them and giving them clues... a kid must win, so if you're an adult, please don't be surprise when Jack sends a trail of frost to make you slip away from that hidden egg, or hide an egg-shaped snowballs a trap.
And speaking of snowballs... grumps attending this event? Yeah, Jack will try to hit them with one, made with his special Fun Snow. No scowls, no seriousness today! Only fun.]
