[closed] I don't want to hate or live with my regrets, I have to show I'm strong and I'll survive
Who: golden wolf
wolfpuppy & demon wolf
freeinghorror
When: OOC: 11/23, IC: 4/11
Where: Shopping District, probably going to be moving all over the District once things start proper
What: FIGHT LOG FIGHT LOG - though it was just supposed to be a shopping trip, why did this have to be his life
Rating/Warning: warning for badass fights and probably some cussing out on Ryuuga's end
[So far, so good - this place wasn't terrible, all things considered, but with the lingering paranoia from CERES hanging in the air, there were some uncomfortable reminders of Vol City hanging over Ryuuga's head over the last few days since his arrival. Granted, it seemed as if it weren't just a small group - the amount of people uncomfortable with what's been going on has been surprisingly large, actually - but he's not sure if that makes him feel better or worse for it.
At the moment, though, he's more concerned with figuring out his way around here - if he was supposed to be a courier of some sort, he probably should at least try to get familiar with the layout of the colony to make things easier.
And maybe scout good places for food. Y'know, for breaks.
Plus it'd be good practice for him to figure out good routes in case things went south. Just because Zaruba couldn't sense anything at the moment didn't mean that something couldn't come up in the future, and unpreparedness had bitten him in the ass more times than he'd like to admit.]

They would fight, he knew that it was inevitable. And with everything else that was apparently going on, the people here didn't need to add Horrors on top of that.]
I'm not letting anyone else get dragged into this.
[He reaches around and grabs the Garoken, drawing the blade before launching himself at Jinga once again, this time moving to strike with a horizontal slash to his torso.]
no subject
[Yes, he had to get the tease in, had to make the jab even as Ryuuga drew his sword and charged him. And like several of their other encounters before, Jinga did not bother with pulling out his sword just yet. Instead he just kicked at the sword to knock it aside.]
Or have I heard wrong in that some are not even human here?
no subject
[He couldn't let himself fall for Jinga's attempts to distract him again. Even though the blade is knocked aside, Ryuuga is undeterred, taking a moment to right himself before rushing forward again, trying to close the gap with a series of slashes again.]
I'm not letting you hurt anyone!

[This was far better then their last fight. True, he didn't have much energy left, Ladan taking as much as it did plus the fight in the air, but this was far more what he expected when facing off against Ryuuga. He acted so much like the man that hadn't accepted everything about him, and Jinga laughed at the sheer thrill of it.
Ducking and spinning out of the way of the slashes, he slid to the edge of the roof, and casually pulled his sword sheath and all off his belt and gave it a couple swings. It felt like it always does, and he took a few seconds to wonder over what he had learned already about this world, then smiled.]
Do you really that you can?
no subject
He breaks from his barrage of sword attacks for a moment to swing with a roundhouse kick, then follow up with a downward slice, gritting his teeth.]
I'll make sure of it - it's my duty as a Makai Knight!
no subject
Is all you ever think about is your duty?
no subject
It's more infuriating because of who the question is coming from, in this case.
He's silent for the time being, forcing himself to focus only on the fight at hand - and though they're near the ledge, it doesn't seem to be hampering either of them. A few moments of silence and sword clashing occur, and then:]
Even if that were the case, why should I tell you one way or another?
[Granted, if he were perfectly honest - no, he doesn't only think of his duty. Circumstances just have forced him into that position.]

[They have played this dance more times that he cared to count. The exchanging blows the taunts on his end and the snarls on Ryuuga's end. The posturing and the prodding and then something happens that draws them apart. A new threat or a cunning ploy or something.
This time there was nothing. Jinga exhaled and set his second hand on his sword, channeling some of his strength and pushing it out. The last time, it tossed Ryuuga back, making it easier for Jinga to come at him with his sword bared.
This time? Well, that all depended on if Ryuuga actually learnt from the last time Jinga pulled this stunt.]
no subject
Still, maybe at this point they could finally finish what they started. He sucks in a breath, ready to keep push forward -
And is forced to brace himself to keep from getting knocked across the roof, gritting his teeth and straining from the effort. He wavers momentarily, but he turns the stumble into a shift forward, charging shoulder-first to slam into Jinga's chest to knock him back, to try and reverse the momentum.]
no subject
But what did he have to fear from falling? Jinga grinned and just let himself fall, back flipping so that he landed feet first against the ground. Pavement cracked and he stood up straight, rolling his shoulders and neck to make the bones settling back in place. Looking up, he waved at Ryuuga.]
Come and get me.
no subject
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.]
no subject
So much anger... how tasty.
no subject
[Too late on that one - Jinga's needling certainly held some sort of weird place in Ryuuga's mind at this point, even knowing what he turned him into this kind of monster. Or maybe it was because he knew what had turned him and Amily into Horrors that he couldn't forgive it.
Regardless -
He reacts on total instinct at this point, meeting the kick with his own, though with the way he had positioned himself, it was a bit awkward with the placement.
Whatever.
He'd deal with it. No more playing around.]
no subject
[He rolled his eyes, following up with a few more kicks aimed more to keep Ryuuga off-balance to do him any actual harm. He wasn't trying too much in this battle, only teasing him just as much with blows as he had been with words, but if Ryuuga staggered again, he was going to dart in and grab him by the collar of his shirt and attempt to toss him back.]
Show me that anger, GARO.
no subject
Instead, Jinga's getting a headbutt for his troubles to try and get him to back off. If given the opportunity, Ryuuga will then get into position and ready himself to summon his armor.]
no subject
There wasn't much there, but it was enough to send a few drops flying. Luckily most everyone had fled by now, but where the blood hit, an Inga was created.]
no subject
There's a momentary look of horror (ha) on Ryuuga's face before he thrusts his sword into the air to draw the summoning circle, and he rushes forward to try and intercept with the armor - it'd just evaporate if it hit the Soul Metal -
and at the same time he's attempting to take back the momentum of the fight, thrusting the newly-transformed Garoken at Jinga's stomach.]
no subject
Sad or not, he still had enough sense to catch the sword with his own before the blessed metal gutted him. He may be able to survive getting gutted by one with enough food, but it still will hurt.]
no subject
He's got better things to do, thanks.
Like running this guy's face into the nearest wall.
Okay maybe not that harsh but eh whatever. Jinga could take it.
And like hell Ryuuga would take his focus off of Jinga - he should know better by now that he would be almost obsessively focused on him and him alone for the most part.
Ryuuga presses the attack, swinging again and again - one of the hits had to strike true, and he was running on limited time as it was. He had to make this count.]
no subject
He wasn't laughing as much now having to keep up with the swings of the Knight. The armored form added greatly to his speed and strength and Jinga was still normal enough that he couldn't afford a mistake. Sure, one direct hit wouldn't completely kill him, but it would weaken him and he knew that if Ryuuga managed to do that, he would finish the job. That was something Jinga didn't want to deal with considering the last time.
So the moment he had half a second in between blows, Jinga also transformed. There was a second of darkness and then the scrape of Soul Metal against his armored side. Inside the twisted form, Jinga grinned.]
Let's make this more even, Knight.
no subject
At least here he didn't have that stupid Mirror to make things an even bigger pain in the ass for him. He just needed to keep focused on the job at hand. Granted that wasn't going to be easy either way, but it's one less thing to worry about.
He lashes out with a hard kick to stagger his opponent, and if it connects, he would launch himself forward for a hard forward thrust.
little over a minute to go.]
sorry fight tags not my mettle
Jinga was going to punch Ryuuga a couple quick times in the face even while he brought his sword in a sidewise sweep to the Knight's hip.
The stomach wound might sting a little, and the armored cracked but the thing that Ryuuga should worry about more was that it caused Jinga to bleed some more. Let's just hope that the city's street cleaners were not the type that got corrupted fast, right?]
s'all good!
He swings his sword around and flips it to a backhand grip if only to ram the pommel into Jinga's torso again to get him to let go, growling as the sideswipe connects. The armor's holding up, but it don't for long if this keeps up.
He'll deal with purifying the Inga when he's finished here, right now he's more focused on taking Jinga out here and now. He has to.]
