He flicks a glance in Zoro's direction as he speaks, then gives the books now scattered across the coffee table and floor a glowering look before nodding.]

[He clears his throat and pushes a hand through his hair, trying to look back at Zoro again and ultimately failing. Which he sort of hates himself for, because yeah this whole shitty thing is embarrassing but fuck if he's going to let it beat him like this.
...Maybe he can give himself a couple hours, though. To stew and hate everything and be grumpy and mortified about it all.
And then he can promptly shove the entire experience into the deep, dark recesses of his mind where he never has to think about it ever again.
