[She blinks slowly, considering his words carefully. Despite common belief (and Oona's own disregard at dispelling such beliefs), Oona wasn't entirely stupid. She didn't always speak without thinking, not when she was with people she actually liked, whose opinions she actually cared about.

She walks to him quietly, reaching out to curl her fingers around his sleeve in a form of comfort--he doesn't typically like being touched the way she does, so this is as far as she'll go unless he seems to be okay with more. A quiet 'I'm here' without pressing for details, even if she's dying to know.

They are stupid, these spirits. They can not do real damage, so they use stupid bullying. [She sniffs disdainfully.] And.. it is fine, to be vulnerable, sometimes... It is not your fault. You are only human.
