Usually not this formal either in our world. [He thinks, anyway.] I mean we have prom in high school and stuff and there're other dances and parties. And royalty tend to have big galas or whatever, too, but I've never been to one of those either. I think anybody can really hold a party like this if they wanted to so kinda depends on what you'd consider often.
