Maybe it's just because we don't have knights where I'm from. Not really anyway. They exist in other parts of the world but trust me, we have more samurai wandering around than we do knights.

[But they can talk about that later. He's genuinely curious about Adelina and how she became the one Tadashi tested the dragon with and her apparently medieval world.] Our world's a lot more like Cerealia but with less aliens. I don't know where dragons would even live if they existed. [...aha.] Anime's like...okay so you know what a movie is, right? It's a kind of art style from Japan. It's all art, too, either from drawing or computer graphics or whatever so it's different than a movie. There're a couple of shows that have the dragons being super-powerful beings and they talk and stuff. Not exactly realistic, but we're also from a world where a giant lizard-monster's actually a registered resident of an Asian country. [In other words some things just don't make sense.]

The element of surprise is always one of the best ways to go when it comes to stuff like this. Hawke actually tested the dragon yesterday, too. Let's just say she really, really didn't know what she was up again. [He gives her a bemused look.] Do you really want me to explain it? It's...a long and kinda complicated explanation since it's a lot of mechanics and engineering.
