[Yuri looks out towards where Sorey is again with a newfound curiosity. Were the humans and seraphim so different? She'd assumed they were more similar to the spirits from her world-- that is, still human in some way.

She looks back at Mikleo with a small hum, trying to figure out how to explain it
] It's a school thing. In America, they have dances to celebrate... I guess the end of the school years and the students that made it through. From what I've seen, there's two types of them-- one for juniors and one for seniors, with the senior one being the most important. It's a big deal, apparently. A lot of time and money and effort goes into the dresses and the events. I think there's a main party and an after-party that goes on until well into the morning.

Though, in the movies, there's usually just a lot of drama, with big final confrontations and confessions happening.

[She gestures to the party at large] I think CERES or ViViD--or whoever's in charge of deciding these things--just knew proms were parties and decided to go with it. There's a lot of people here who clearly aren't students, after all.
