[ She pauses, not sure how to say the rest. ] It turns out that we had another classmate, one that none of us remembered due to our memories of our time at school being erased... Her name was Ikusaba, but at the time we only knew her as Junko Enoshima. Near the beginning, Ikusaba died while the real Enoshima lived as the mastermind behind all of this, trying to cause as much despair to the world as possible. She had already caused great devastation to civilization as we knew it, and we were the last ray of hope left. Enoshima sought to destroy that.
