[ The cry is so sudden it splits the air. Rapunzel, who was about to place her foot on a particularly deceptive section of the marshy ground, whirls about and narrows her eyes, trying to pinpoint the direction the sound came from. Five minutes of exhausting trudging rewards her with the sight of a woman with dark hair like her mother's.
And evidently, she is not alone.
Rapunzel's mind works quickly, fumbling its way towards a plan. She drops low to the ground, initially backing away before something in her gut tugs at her to stay and, grudgingly, she does, waiting for the horrible, cold fear in her limbs to dissipate. Why can't she just leave people alone!? This person might fancy killing her too!
Then, abruptly, she stands and waves both arms wildly to get the woman's attention. To hell with it. ] This way! Lead it this way!
