[ here's a brief stagger as he clambers back to his feet, and lop forces his breaths slower to try and calm himself. ]

I'm afraid I don't watch too many movies, but isn't sci-fi meant to be more glamorous?

[ a weak laugh as he tries to brush the worst of the mud and sludge off his clothes. ]

This feels more like ... horror, maybe?
