It started as a crackle of red energy, dancing around her fingertips, enlarging into a swirl of strange, crackling electricity. Two, three seconds, until she was sure he was watching just her hand, and she flipped it over and pointed, sending a burst of red lightning across the swamp to slam into a tree, which practically split in half at the force, spiderwebbed cracks forming everywhere the lightning touched.
And once he was looking after the lightning, and not at her, she let her chaos swallow her up, a flare of light that probably yanked his attention back a split second too late...
And then she was standing behind him on Baymax, arms outstretched, trying to keep her balance. "Okay let's go!" And giggling. Of course.
