Who: americana west meets the meiji period

Where: gym! specifically the dojo and surrounding areas
What: just casual culture clash and bond...ing.... ???
Rating/Warning: sweat baby sweat baby
[ despite being stuck in an alien world with weird alien people doing weird alien things, america still likes to get a work out. back home, he'd usually do it at home and maybe call up canada for some sparring practice since... well, first of all he can't spar with humans and secondly, most of the other nations think he's a dick. which, yeah, he is but he's also better than them so whatever.
but here in cerealia, he's kind of embracing the ability to hang out with humans on a same level basis and the equipment in the gym doesn't really break as often when he uses it. he got some dirty looks from the receptionist when he came back the first time after he and russia sparred (it's like no one ever heard of bleach. it does clean up blood, you know!) but regardless, he's been coming ever so often when he wants to burn off some steam. it's good and it keeps him in shape because there is no way whatsoever that he's getting fat in his downtime.

anyway, it's on one of these trips to the gym that he spots a certain fwippy looking ponytail that he likes talking to! it's abe! he's heading to a part of the gym america hasn't gone poking around yet so america decides to go say hi once he grabs a quick shower. after that, it's just a matter of wandering around in that direction a bit until he finds what he's looking for.
it's the sight of a dojo that makes him know that he found exactly the place. knocking on the outside door (gently because, well, it's a dojo) he pokes his head in to see sousei. ]
Abe! Hey!
[ yeah he is totally walking in there in his sneakers and everything. ]
