Who: Miles Edgeworth, his faithful canine sidekick Pess, and YOU!

What: Edgeworth takes his dog around, and runs into people. Adorbs ensues.
Rating/Warning: Dog. Grumpy prosecutor being a little less grumpy.

[OPTION A: RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT

Edgeworth is taking his dog out for a walk around the district. And before he can do anything, the big and very real tricolor border collie suddenly stands up on his hind legs and barks excitedly at the first person he sees (which is you, sorry). Pess may or may not brace his front paws on your thigh or any part of you he can reach, tail wagging with anticipation. It's a new friend. New friend!!! On the bright side, he's a pretty clean dog. NEW FRIEND!!!

Edgeworth doesn't care, and gasps at this public display of affection.]

Pess, no. [That firm "no" is all it takes for Pess to behave, although his tail is still wagging like crazy and he's panting and grinning as a dog would. Edgeworth sighs, shaking his head. He's quick to apologize.] I'm sorry; he enjoys meeting new people.

[Far more than his master.]

[OPTION B: SHOPPING DISTRICT

There's a cleaning robot. It's doing its business, sweeping up some debris from a nearby food stall. Suddenly, out of nowhere comes this border collie. He bounds over to the robot, starts sniffing it, and promptly raises one leg ominously over the poor thing.

What do you do, responsible citizen of Cerealia? What do you do - well, while Edgeworth hasn't caught up with his dog, anyway?]

[OPTION C: GARDENS

Pess is a pro at getting people to play with him. So while you're there, you may just find this dog walking up to you with a stick, or a ball, in his mouth. He drops this at your feet, wanting a game of fetch. If you take too long to decide what to do, he'll just sit down, tail wagging happily and staring up at you with those big pleading puppy eyes.

Edgeworth is close by. He'll be looking for his dog when Pess takes a bit too long to get back to him.]

[OPTION D: GARDENS/SHOPPING DISTRICT/RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT/POLICE DEPT.

Drop something? If you did, you might just find this dog picking it up and offering it back to you suddenly before Edgeworth can act. Yeah, I guess Edgeworth is in this prompt too. Thank his dog. And the master, maybe. THEY'RE GOOD PEOPLES...er, peoples and doge.]

[Edgeworth, likewise, recognizes this young man; although the same can't quite be said for the young man's companion. Anyway, Pess is enjoying the scratches, although the other creature...doesn't quite look like the kind that likes to be scratched.

The prosecutor shrugs and shakes his head, with a grin of agreement.]

He can be too friendly at times.

There's no such thing, as far as I'm concerned.

[ he'll give the dog a few more scratches behind the ears before rising up, fixing the cuffs of his suit jacket from the impact. but don't be decieved - aron loves being petted! just because she has steel armour, that doesn't mean she doesn't like some lovin'.

in fact, she'll be waddling over to brace her front legs up onto edgeworth's leg as a mimic to pess' actions, chirping inquisitively. she's a lot smaller and not as furry, but cute in her own way! ]

She doesn't bite.

[prosecutory]

[Edgeworth is a bit surprised when Aron braces her front legs onto him at first, but he relaxes, and reaches out to touch the top of her head.

This time, he's not surprised to feel real steel under his fingers.]

What is she? [He's curious. So is Pess, who's watching Aron.]

A Pokémon - they're creatures as common to my world as animals most likely are to yours.

[ he leaves himself room for correction, but as he understands it, people keep animals as casual pets in the same way that some people do with pokémon.

all the while, aron will nuzzle happily into his touch. head rubs are the best. ]

[prosecutory]

[When he sees that Aron likes head rubs, Edgeworth keeps doing so, and Pess trundles over for his share of the rubbing.]

I see. Do they all have powers, like the ones that fought for you? [In ViViD, when they were in CEREscape.]

[geophile]

They do. Aron has different powers than Metagross - the one that you saw in ViVid - but she's still quite capable.

[ yesssss, head rubs. she's quite cute, but could you believe that she can move and crush boulders? aron are awesome. ]

[prosecutory]

What are her powers?

[Edgeworth figures she looks very strong and sturdy. Hoo boy, he's up to his thighs in creatures demanding his attention. How did it come to this.]

[geophile]

Earth manipulation, primarily. Though she also holds enough strength in her body to demolish a truck.

[ one foot and four inches of pure STRENGTH. run and tell that. ]

[prosecutory]

[Earth manipulation...that means earthquakes. Thank goodness she's not using her powers right now.]

How many of these creatures do you have with you?

[geophile]

[ and rock slides! you can't forget rock slides - those are awesome. ]

Here in the colony, seven. Though I have many more of them in my home world.

[prosecutory]

And you manage to care for all of them?

[NO, ROCK SLIDES AREN'T AWESOME.

But Edgeworth, being a one-dog kind of guy, has to wonder how Steven can give all of them proper attention.]

Of course. They're all quite self-sufficient, but I raised them - it's only natural that I maintain that care.

[ THEY'RE AWESOME, DAMN IT. but as pokemon trainers do, he can balance all that tlc and attention between all of his babies. to punctuate, aron will waddle back over to his side, where he picks her up to settle in his arms. ]

[prosecutory]

I can imagine that with powers, they can fend for themselves in the wild easily.

[Not like some dogs and cats who would be in danger from speeding cars and hungry, ferocious wild animals.]
