I know. [He looks calm about it, but he's not exactly thrilled about the whole thing.] Sometimes it's just...people are very protective of the people they love sometimes and it comes out in really weird ways. Sometimes it's threatening to beat somebody up if they hurt someone important. Sometimes it's yelling about canned noodles. [Which is still weird. And then there's a longer pause.] ...and sometimes it's saying that you have to learn not to be a burden to the person they care about.

It's just how things are.
